Great video as always... loved the bit about the mussels! - You say you're going to attempt the Rochdale Canal? Are you going to have any assistance on the notorious Rochdale 9? I've not cruised them myself, but I've heard tales and watched many videos! - My liveaboard dream may just be around the corner - my third survey pending on the 15th! - I'll me more towards the Anglia region eventually.

So brilliant to see you tackle the Anderton boat lift very brave and well done! Love the nature bucket list and I hope you are successful in your search. I love the fungi world so fascinating and I've never seen porcelain fungus👍 the Artwork of Zeph was superb captured her perfectly ! I read the novel, The Narrowboat Summer, a couple of years ago, and was instantly intrigued by the narrowboat. I am too old and have chronic health issues to begin a narrowboat journey, so, I so much enjoy going along with you on yours! Thank you for what you do, and for sharing it!!! Such lovely scenery, drawings and poetry! And that drawing of Zeph is amazing!!!!

Fantastic fungi finds I have yet to find a fly agaric growing but in the last few years developed an allergy to tree leaf mould that gives me horrendous Bronchiectasis ( non cystic fibrosis) coughing & mucus put paid to me walking in woodland under trees that I love
Bad enough with spores in open spaces ( sometime with face mask ) if I can tolerate the breathing

Loved tonight’s episode, Zephurs picture was amazing and enjoyed the mushrooms you found. Me and Rigsby 🐶 did a foraging walk yesterday and found deer mushroom, redlead Roundheads, robust bracket, brown birch boletes, chestnut brittle stem and willow bracket which I’m going to make a medicinal tincture from.
Thought you did amazing at the lock lift, looked pretty stressful. 😣
Last week we won our 3rd award of the year, “Plastic free champion, which Rigsby tried to eat ( it’s made from wood 😅)

Seeing bird’s nest fungus is on my bucket list too! We are lucky enough to have some fly agaric about 100 years from our house, it hasn’t appeared yet this autumn though.

I had a chance to ride the Falkirk Lift this past summer…. I didn’t want to leave the boat.. I wanted to cruise on… what a great excursion from our Cruise Ship…
