It’s absolutely horrific how they did this . If you want to know details try reading excerpts from the Yurovsky letters , they are just as bad. Full of grotesque details and horrific language. Yakov Yurovsky was a brutal and violent man, and he was doing it only because the Bolsheviks wanted the Tsar and his family dead , they were too involved in the World at the time.

For those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable. President John F Kennedy 1961. Maybe Czars shouldn't have been butchers and educated their people. Russians might have told Lenin and Stalin to go to hell. Czars sent more people to gulags in Siberia than Bolsheiviks ever did. What a rotten way to treat people who see you as one step under God.

Yurovsky and his fellow scumbags thought that by doing this they would become great Bolshevik heroes when in fact it was the complete opposite people couldn't stand the sight of them. If they saw Yurovsky coming they crossed the road to avoid him. No one wanted anything to do with them. His accomplice Peter Ermakov (who really was a scumbag) in the 1950s met General Zhukov at a function and held out his hand for Zhukov to shake. The General refused saying "I don't shake the hands of murderers!"

Nicholas II was very stubborn & because of this… he got him & his whole bloodline unalived! All he had to do was vacate the thrown & go into exile when it was obvious that the Bolsheviks had taken control of the country! He continued to try to retain power & even tried to put his young son on the thrown but it was too late! Ending the Romanov’s 304 year rule of Russia! 🇷🇺

In general- while Tsar and family didn’t deserve this horrible death, the general populace in Russia lived in a terrible state of poverty and serfdom. Nicolas had all the time to bring in reform and decentralize power and become like England. He should have learnt from the French Revolution a century ago. But no - he thought he had the god given right and didn’t want to let go of an iota of power and with the war being lost- you just unleash the worst of mankind. Guess he was waiting for his cousin , the English king to save him.

The leader of the Soviet Union Lenin was evil who does not think about what the people want freedom and peace but instead where they want to take the world make the order. That's exactly what Russia wants to do as well. Putin wants too. Putin can be the ruler of his Russia until the last day.

What a horrendus crime... Romanov family... Royal Martyrs. Monarchy should've never dissapear from Russia.
Even, look at those countries like the Scandinavians, the U. K., the BeNeLux, Japan... they started having freedom right after WW2 (or before). Monarchy took the place of an institution in charge of taking care of people's freedom.
And now, look at Russia: Nowadays, it has a bloody dictator, literally capable to kill his enemies while they're at the other part of the world, that only cares about himself.

I know this will sound stupid, but I hope that somehow, when Putin dies, he leaves as his succesor the most close person to the late Tsar in The Imperial Family. So, the new Tsar of Russia could start a period of transition. This is what happened with the Kingdom of Spain and his last dictator.

My sister still believes in the movie that princess Anastasia was found and Queen Victoria realized it was her by her giggle or something. We fought about it as kids when I’d point out all the different women who said they were her and that she was never truly found with tons of hoaxes by charlatans trying to scam Queen Victoria. Even now that her bones/remains have been identified by DNA she still won’t believe it and still believes the movie ending is what really happened.
