Hello everyone. Mexican here (born, raised and living in Mexico). There's a word in Mexico for the complex thing that happened to the mind of these folks. It's called Malinchismo. You see, Malinche was a young mexica woman (what is usually called aztec) from the XVI century who was captured and ultimately traded to the Spanish conquistadors. As she happened to learn Spanish quickly, she was kept as a translator, thus meeting Cortez (chief conquistador), who took her as his mistress. Long story short, Malinche did everything in her power to make the conquest smoother for Spain and for her man, and never looked back. In return, she got a beautiful hacienda, slaves (her own kind) and acres upon acres of land in Veracruz, where the remains of her estate still exist. Still, she was never acknowledged as the wife of Cortez, and their children were not considered legitimate. She blended with the powerful for small power, richness and the right to feel superior, but was always looked down on by the Spanish. To round up, these folks in the group are confirmed cases of Malinchismo, who turn a blind eye to the humiliating treatment of a violent bully, so they can feel protected by a powerful master.

They like Trump because he speaks like a kid. Vocabs and massges that even less educated people can easily understand.
