man, the subliminal morse code on this transmission is frying my reception. kkk k kkkk k k kkk k
ОтветитьOl dad told me there was so much forward fire power added to them they had to throttle up just too keep forward momentum
ОтветитьHorrible music. Generic rock, the worst kind.
ОтветитьHad a Professor when I was attending university that was an experienced WWII Bomber Pilot, this man had actually flown in several kinds of planes used in WWII, and said there were a few who would "almost fly themselves", he also said that the B25 while an excellent plane, was a real PIG to fly, requiring almost constant corrections, and for that reason, was exhausting physically. He stated that it was not pilot friendly, it responded well and was otherwise an excellent plane, but was very fatiguing to fly.
ОтветитьMy uncle was a tail gunner on the B-25 in the pacific. When I enlisted in the Air Force during Viet Nam he gave me a ring he made from a zero on a captured airfield. When he gave it to me he said "from one airman to another". I still have that ring today in now 2021. Great men those crew members of US bombers during W II.
ОтветитьMmmm, the B-25 with eight 50 calibre nose guns, ma fav.
19: 58 gun no.2 jammed
Turn the music down.
Ответитьcan I know how many bombs can a b25 bomber carry?
ОтветитьWTF'k is with the editing, I normally like this kind of historical video but I had to give this a thumbs down.
ОтветитьMy grandpa flew a B-25 back in 1945. He is still alive and well to this day and loves telling us his stories about this amazing aircraft.
ОтветитьGood documentary, even if the silly synthetic pseudo rock music is heavily annoying. That is music made by failed rock musicians, that could not find any other job than this muzak.
Ответитьone of the first warbird models i ever built, beautiful aeroplane
ОтветитьFor what reason, did you take an excellent one hour episode of "Wings," and chop it down to 37 minutes? You really butchered it bad! For that reason I give it a thumbs down!
Ответитьchange the lousy background music
ОтветитьA lot of video skipping 16-17 minutes in
ОтветитьRead The Last Raider, that book features the B-25 as the main character. One of my favorite books. And I've read a lot!!!!!!!!!!!
ОтветитьTo everyone who is thinking of starting their own business, believe in yourself and never give up.Your future self will be thankful
ОтветитьMy uncle was a bombardier in one of these during WWII and had a habit of being in the only plane that would come back from missions.
It got to the point where other bomber pilots refused to fly if my uncle’s plane was going with. And if memory serves, he got the nickname Fortunate F*cking Phil after his plane was the only survivor for like the fourth time in a row.
They completey missed the development and use of skip bombing on ships. Pioneered by the 5th AF in the S Pacific with B25's.
ОтветитьThe A-10 Thunderbolt II bears similar characteristics and fulfills identical imperatives.

ОтветитьMaster of the strafing run.
Ответитьbruh why is the music in this doc SO GOOD 👌🏻
ОтветитьThey had a B-25 do a flyover at the Indy 500 and I don’t think I’ll ever forget that drone of those twin engines as it pulled off and away. What a magnificent plane it was.
ОтветитьWith the 75mm cannon, I can't help but think how awesome a B-25 would be with the GAU-8A from an A-10 taking up the position of the 75mm along with the .50cals and 20mm.
Ответить80's style rock music just doesn't fit well with this B25 documentary!
ОтветитьWhen Discovery excel its programs. Now it shows only crap.
ОтветитьLooks like the A 10.
ОтветитьOutstanding!
ОтветитьThats my great great great great grandfather’s aircraft!
ОтветитьWhy the rock band in the background, ruins it
ОтветитьThe 1955 film 'The Court-Martial of Billy Mitchell' (in 1925) with Gary Cooper was a revelation to me. It explains very well why he was remembered with this aircraft.
ОтветитьWe have a B-25 that lives here at Falcon Field in Mesa, AZ during the winter - along with a B-17. In the summertime they go 'on tour' to airshows around the country. So I get to see and hear them multiple times a week. As a 40+ year aero engineer they make me happy!
ОтветитьMy Dad's brother, my Uncle Lee Scott, flew as copilot in Mitchell as a young, 23 year old aviator out of Papua New Guinea. They never returned. The plane, nor its brave occupants, were never found. 😢
Ответитьin 1975 i was building 3 houses on a new dairy, there was a country airport a 1/2 mile away, i would go there too use the phone, a B-25 was parked there, i never got to meet the owner, but i ll never forget the sound of that bird taking off, i can only imagine that bird leaving the deck of the USS Hornet, love this Aircraft
ОтветитьThanks WW2 USA 🇺🇸 Grandpa Vade Beasley American Army Sniper, from American Grandson John Robert Bruffett Junior USA 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸😎🇺🇸😎🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸😎🇺🇸😎🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
ОтветитьThe music makes me want to suck start my pistol.
ОтветитьLove those planes ❤
ОтветитьThe performance of the Italians was pathetic at best 😅
ОтветитьGreat Aircraft named after a great Aviator, Billy Michell.
ОтветитьAmazing that they never even mentioned Pappy Gunn, the father of the gun nose Mitchell.
ОтветитьKing nine where are you?
Ответитьwar thunder
ОтветитьI'd watch this just for the music alone...
