Patron Saint Day on Hydra Island Greece

The 14th November is Patron Saint's Day on Hydra Island Greece. The island's patron saint is Aghios Konstandinos who because he was martyred for his faith on Rhodes, is also the patron saint of that island too. On Hydra the celebration of his life starts on the evening of the 13th, followed by a service at the Ag. Konstandinos church at the top of Kiaffa, a procession into the town, followed by another service at the Monastery Cathedral Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary in Hydra Town.
