Great video. Are there any specific area of the North you are looking at? I'm currently looking at HMO's in Liverpool but not sure if there are better areas to look at.

It was an optimistic plan to begin with and I have had some unexpected payments AND decided to start a Masters distance learning...but I’m not giving up! Trying some extra ways to increase the income and achieve the goal. I need to come up with £25k to cover deposit, fees, stamp duty etc. I took out a 0% interest credit card a while back, do you know if this will cause issues if this is still outstanding when I come to take out a mortgage?

Another great video Matt! My aim like yourself is to flip property to build a healthy cash pot to then build a rental portfolio. I did a fair amount of research into mixed use commercial property and with the recent changes to Permitted Development rights this looks like a lucrative route to take. I haven't pursued this yet though as I didn't want to confuse my strategy and thought it is best to focus on one strategy for now and get good at it!
