I'm afraid that there are people who react negatively to people who truly enjoy themselves and each other and their work as y'all do. I always find your content uplifting and enjoyable and speaking for myself as an American I admire everything English. I am very invested in this process and looking forward to seeing her slip down that creek. Don't let the bastards get you down.
ОтветитьRight so im proud of yall two keep it up impressive progress
Ответитьif someone is upset about the money you are making they should remember they are watching you for free , after they have spent there money to get on u tube to a mega corporation that would be just as happy showing cat videos or obnoxious fails. bottom line is they don't have to watch. and totally agree with one comment your videos are great therapy and can't wait for next one.
ОтветитьYou guys sure have come a long way in the boat restoration process. It’s not a yacht, it’s a very worthy restoration and it still blows me away at your tenacity to get to it done, even out there in the mud. I totally understand that though, free dockage or mudage is priceless. 😊
Ответить"Right" and "So!" the start of a new drinking game!
ОтветитьThanks for sharing. Stay safe.
ОтветитьCarry on the good work Right! excellent channel and content..So there 😊
ОтветитьI know it takes a lot of extra work to take us along with your dream. We are grateful that you share your dream with us.

ОтветитьTo be brutally honest...I only watch for Simons funky hairstyle(s)
ОтветитьYa, it is getting cold outside. It was 26 degrees here in Rhode Island and tomorrow is will be in the 70's. Slowly but steady, the work on the old boat is coming along nicely.
ОтветитьLove watching you guys. Don't let a butt discourage you.
ОтветитьU guys R great. Enjoy your content, well done. I hope U make millions. Then retire on an old woody. Best Regards
ОтветитьI can’t believe how hard you two work, I assume you’ve both got jobs, a family and a household to look after , so I don’t know where you find the time. Well done
ОтветитьOn this episode, the team play with the time-lapse feature on their cameras
ОтветитьSmall wood indeed!
ОтветитьHi, I hope I’m not jumping the gun here but you seem to be working your way aft now. Just wondering if you have given any consideration to the construction of the topsides at the stern. I’m referring to the area where the topsides have been raised to create extra headroom in the after accommodation. It would appear that the previous conversion was done using plywood. Could suggest that instead of ply, you use the diagonal planking method used in the construction of the hull. This I think would not only enhance the appearance of hull externally but increase the strength and integrity of the extended topsides making a much stronger and durable construction. I would point out that I’m no expert but I’ve been around boats all my life and have some experience with wooden boats. Thoroughly enjoying your programme and absolutely in admiration of what you’re doing. Bon chance, Richard
Ответитьtheir's always a ------ well you know,so shake it off .your doing great...
ОтветитьGreat video as always, love to see you reaching the machine room now .. when the side of the steering house is also finished it will be perfect.. every week enjoying the video's soo much, can't believe anyone leaving a bad comment. ОтветитьHow many camera's are you operation at any one time. Very professional editing . Luv the vlog.
ОтветитьYears ago when fiberglass the deck of an MFV,, I found the surface was fin with fresh water on it from a foothold point of view, but as soon as it had salt water on it it was like a skating rink!, Answer was another topcoat of resin, and then a light sprinkling of sand whilst it was still wet. The other thing was using a straight edge, and tearing the mat rather than cutting it and the joins are then invisible! Anyway good luck with what you are doingit's beginning to look good!!
ОтветитьYou are so right it only takes one pick to pop a Balloon...I remember when I was building my first steel 45 foot .I had some tack welding holding a steel plate..this pick turns up gives me Grief about this .sometimes later I Hhear back about my bad welding ...you guys are doing a Beautiful job ..enjoy yourself
ОтветитьHere in the United States of Stupid I find you two bring smiles to my face so keep on and do not let the negative stuff get to you.

ОтветитьI'm glad these folks knew what they were getting into in regards to the amount of rot on this old boat. There'll probably only be about 20% of the original ship left by the time that they're done
ОтветитьI admire the both of you because you are restoring a bost that would intimdate me but I would love to actually take on a restoration project so Thank You for sparking me to fix my old shed instead of tearing it down .
ОтветитьI would love to actually see her in person when she is fully restored .

ОтветитьMega work......Mammoth task, you have my admiration for your commitment to such a project......Great to watch. Saludos desde España mi amigos.
ОтветитьYou are both absolutely brilliant!!
ОтветитьI know nothing about boats, but what I see here is an amazing couple doing the impossible! Subscribed!
ОтветитьMy favourite part of the boat is the steel engine room door, it is the only thing except the grey paint which I see stands out and says Sarinda was a WWII vessel. I cannot wait to see it refurbished . I just want to run through it towards thee engine room pretending I'm at battle stations.
"One prick to pop a balloon". Not if there is sticky tape on it - we the viewers are your sticky tape Gemma. When I feel hurt by ppl like trolls I reflect on the old "Sticks and stones" saying and recognise they are just words and work to control my emotion, carry on chicky babe, actions speak louder than words, and your followers show supportive actions and are they sticky tape that stops the prick popping the ballon.
Time to watch next episode :)
