From being a player since like update 0.4 I gotta say the caves and cliffs updates was one of the worse updates ever.. the maps are ridiculous to get around and caves are unbelievable to explore I’m coming out of caves with stacks and stacks of dimonds …. They were full out stupid making caves this size I hope they do something about it..

I supported and defended Mojang up until they decided to go with the reporting "feature", once they did that I was annoyed, when the community complained we were ignored and basically told "too bad we are adding it anyway" that "feature" takes away from what makes Minecraft so free, with censorship now on Minecraft of all places, its unbelievable to me honestly how we cant just have people who cant handle certain words should do 1 of 3 things, turn chat off and continue to play, leave the server and fine one that has active chat mods, or simply get off of online games. I wont play multiplayer now I just play mods on older versions of the game, back when Minecraft was a simple game.

I honestly feel like these are pretty minor complaints. In an age where game developers routinely release unfinished games and never update them...

Minecraft has been receiving regular substantial updates for over a decade. Sure some updates have less than others but that's okay.

As for failing to deliver on certain things, they have now stated that they will only show things that they are ready to put into thee game as they do not want to disappoint people.

It seems to me that they have learned from their mistakes and the resulting feedback

Honestly, it's infuriating how much Mojang has been over-promising these last 2 years. They overpromised so hard for 1.17 that they had to split the update in half and STILL didn't get everything into those two updates... and 1.19, despite being THE WILD UPDATE, only added delayed features from Caves & Cliffs, the Mob Vote mob, and the Mangrove Swamp from a biome vote from 3 years ago. No actual "Wild" content was added. So when are we getting those "Wild" additions? Never? Will they be pushed to a later update, only for those delayed features to completely replace the actual update again? How long will this cycle of Mojang not delivering on promises go on for?

Thats why i use Windows 7 with service pack 1 (Without udpdates), and cracked minecraft. Because of Microsoft, and their, 1 million security things.

Why does updates with 9 suck???? 😔😔

So, as a Bedrock player, I can not understand why they are adding chat reports to Java. I (or my parents) first bought Minecraft when I was alot younger, not knowing that there was any differentiation between editions, and I have been stuck with Bedrock for all that time. Because of this, more younger Minecrafters go for Bedrock, as it lets them play with more people (without resorting to buggy cross-play servers). Also, Java is being pushed aside; I have a challenge for you. Boot up Java and Bedrock, and put them on split-screen. Bedrock will say just "Minecraft", and Java will say "Minecraft: Java Edition". Java has been pushed aside as a side-version, although it came first, which explains why Bedrock has the upper-edge with popularity. This means that players who play Bedrock are typically younger than players who play Java (yes, I know that some older players specifically choose bedrock over Java. I think that the Bedrock chat-reporter feature in Bedrock fits in place, but when it comes to Java, most people on Java are older, and have more responsibility, and don't mention that anarchy servers could be destroyed if this feature isn't togglable (idk if it is or not never played java lol).

There’s a thing I heard that one of my friends said about this update, because Java is so modable, this chat reporting WILL be bypassed in just a couple of months

I think in general Minecraft chat reporting is a good idea but the way they put that good idea to affect is the problem. Personally I think when you get reported for a good reason it should make it impossible for the player to use chat for a week but anything that doesn’t have to do with verbal harassment should be a punishment left to the server owner.

Mojang and Microsoft are making corporate decisions that destroys freedom of immersion day by day, the MC community must take a stand!

If they can make the Bedrock edition feel as tightly programmed and well thought-out as the original 4J editions (Multiplayer simply just works, don’t have to reinstall every time something goes wrong) Mojang and Microsoft will re-earn my respect.

Also the reason mc is adding bans my usual jokes aside is because log4j exploit it caused uncomprehendable damage and allowed Microsoft a way into control on bedrock first then with the desperateness from java they snatched java to so they can give the illusion of giving the people what they want safety.

Guys i have a few Question about Mojang, so you know the modders who do like 3 new bioms and 15 new mobs in a month of work while just beeing themself with no pay and Just a coffe


The thing i wilk never get is how it takes Mojang 2 years to get an update with 2 new bioms and a few mobs ready for release and then they have to split it because its to much work... Its a studio with mutiple developers and somehow it appears to me that it is slower in coding than a guy on the internet which does it for free. There are to plausible scenarios here:

1. The modder which does this in a Month is like the absolut god of programming and knows everything and alone does the work of 15 developers in a week, and if payed woud get millions

2. Or the moyang defs are ineficient

Honestly, I still have 100% faith in Mojang, they've had mess ups and Minecraft has been "Dead" more times then I can count. Every time it's come back so eh, I don't like the report system or any features like that Microsoft is trying to push, but I still think all the updates in recent times have slapped.
