How the heck did you get to lvl 33 in act 1?

I love this game but I am having a hard time navigating. I swear I'm doing my best to explore. I'm jumping around. I'm looking at things but lo and behold. After I get past a place I find out watching another guide I totally missed an entire area and right now I'm trying to get through the cliffs and I swear I'm just running in circles even though I'm taking different routes or trying to I can't believe you've got your Gustav at level 33 when I've been fighting the same monsters over and over and over again and I haven't even got over 20 yet. Like I would say I fought more enemies than I should have. I've spent more time in levels than I should have and I'm still so far behind. I mean I suppose it could be because you've done New game Plus a couple times so it's easy to get Gustav that level before the end of act one when it won't matter but I wish there was a way to know what you're missing, what I haven't explored

Usually I go for maxing vitality, but this game has 1) so many 1 shots and 2) there are no penalty for dying. So max your damage and remember how you beat isshin it is.

Don't put points in vitality, if your worried about survival defense is better. But agility is the best state to build.

so even tho i've DELETED this game in normal mode with MAX might (it seams important) i'm going to try expert mode with your builds.
BTW ,this game is a little weak on the combat mechanics and the character building in my opinion ,wouldn't think you would bother with it ..

Only put points into AGI, LCK, and a little MGT. Speed and Critical Stk are the only stats that matter.

Vitality and Agility are the best stats.

2 into defense is enough and 15 into luck

Make sure the weapons attributes align with whatever attribute your upgrading. Lick the perks that help that specific character in what they lack so for lune to use things that generate ap because her skills require a lot. Right?

I say up your vitality being able to take hits is huge in this mode it can't really determine the outcome of most battles you can be perfect and get hit with one critical expedition failed, and luck is the second most important being able to hit criticals consistently means no draw out battles, and having a healer as a tank all three characters don't have to be offensive builds

i keep getting destroyed by like every enemy in this mf game 😂 i wish there were more guides esp for early game but theyre all so vague
