ОтветитьWish we had smell-a-vision, your kitchen must smell amazing! Great recipe, will be trying.
ОтветитьI love lentils Daal😁 they are the healthiest beans in the world! I’ll be making this without the Ghee though 😂. OMG you put soooo much in there 😂 I know it tastes so good but I don’t want to negate the health benefits of the Daal and all those other delicious spices.
I’ve never used a pressure cooker before. I’m so stoked to try this.
My heart feels so good 😂!!!! My favorite Cooking show of all time 😁
ОтветитьThis looks delicious! I don’t have a pressure cooker..could I just cook the lentils in a different pot? I know it would take much longer....any tips to still get a similar consistency? Thanks
ОтветитьOhh my Dish !!😁
ОтветитьWowww!!!! Love love! Keep those recipes coming 😊
ОтветитьWow !! Awesome !!!!
ОтветитьHahah I absolutely love it when you taste your recipes!
Today’s video was so funny you actually lost the ability to talk! 🤣
Maybe compile a short video of all your tasting reactions that would be hilarious.
Dal has been a staple food for me growing up. Had my first Thadaka Dal when I went to India for the first time 2 years ago. I was in Goa. Unbelievable taste. Glad I know how to make it, now :)
ОтветитьLooks delicious!
Ответитьlooks lovely! definitely will give it a go!
ОтветитьLooks super easy to make & you were super excited making it, much passion ;-) Tks Vijaya
ОтветитьI love your videos I made your butter chicken not that long ago it was amazing! Can this be made w/o a pressure cooker? Thank you so much for your amazing videos!
ОтветитьWow thank you so much! I used another dal recipie recently and it was not good. . .cannot wait to try this one ❤
ОтветитьThanks for the recipe! Love your bubbly personality and thorough explanation of each step. Keep it up!
ОтветитьYou know this recipe is authentic because the pressure cooker handle is broken just like every other south Asian home.
ОтветитьReally, Really good! This is my favorite recipe for Tadka Dal. Believe me, I have tried many. Thank you!
ОтветитьWhat a great recipe! I subscribed and am looking forward to other yummylicious recipes, maybe smth with green mung beans?
I made the dal today and even tough I dont have hing nor kasoori methi it still turned out yummy. We are fasting at this time and we dont eat animal products so I veganized the recipe by replacing the ghee with organic virgin coconut oil, I can only imagine that it's much more tasty with ghee and once the fast is over I will try it with ghee as well.
Thank you and many greetings from Greece!
Good evening 🌆- Can you kindly educate us on the benefits of Ghee! Much appreciated. 🙏🌹🙏
ОтветитьThis! 😍 Your channel has made my lockdown so enjoyable! Thank you so much! 💞
ОтветитьVijaya, I have a question.. I've never used asafoetida.. I was curious & bought a jar of it combined with turmeric (wonder why they did that?) How much should I use compared with pure asa powder?
ОтветитьVijaya...could you respond to my request for the written names of the spices used in this recipe? I have an Indian grocery store but would not know where to look for these since I haven't seen the spelling.
ОтветитьIn my country I can't get the asafoetida or the methi leaves.. we only get the seeds
Ответитьsuch a fantastic dish. Love you videos hope you can do more soon
ОтветитьI put some whole spices in with the water with turmeric in the pressure cooker. If I just use a cup of red lentils it's 3 mins on high in ip pro. I make my own ghee from organic grass fed butter and it's so cheap. I do a kilo of butter at a time and get around 800ml of ghee. I just use lots of garlic and cumin seeds in tadka , it great.
