RIP James Earl Jones. You were Awesome as the Voice of Darth Vader in Star Wars and as the Voice of Mufasa in The Lion King

What a most wonderful man…we will miss him terribly ❤️❤️❤️

It just goes to show how much "Dad" energy this man exuded, given that his most famous roles, both stage and screen, dealt with fatherhood. King Joffe, Mufasa, and Darth Vader were so far apart from each other. And yet, he was able to tap into each of those facets beautifully. Even when he wasn't playing an actual father, he was still a mentor in some way. For me, as a child, I saw that in Mr. Myrtle, from "The Sandlot". Viewers of that movie could tell how much his character enjoyed, sharing his life story and passion for baseball with those boys. I feel like that role, along with "The Lion King", showed the real, day-to-day man. Everyone, who has paid tribute, has mentioned the same traits of gentleness and generosity of wisdom. We miss him so much, but, at the same time, we also rejoice that he has transformed into the Force. We know that we'll see him again one day, when the sun sets on our time here. (9/11/2024)
