Ответитьits so true man, you know you have had a good adventure when at the end you are ready to go home and see your loved ones.
ОтветитьAfter watching Wavy 2 first, this was a pleasant surprise. Also, I do think "Krister" should be a verb.
Ответитьi would honestly have payed for this its a masterwork it defenitly deserves a spot in the hall of fame
ОтветитьThis Type of skiing is the living dream and the gateway to Valhalla.

ОтветитьBuy a Yamaha outboard engine.
ОтветитьI grew up on Uloy, Havnnes. We had not equipment anything near what these guys have, but we skied whole winter. I am bourn way to early, would have been nice having equipment like this growing up. Our gear was basically touring skies with a wire strap around the heel securing the boot to the ski. I remember as a very young kid I got some left-over skis from my uncle, the wire strap was missing on the binding. So, I used rope to secure my rubber boots to the ski. It was a horrible contraption, and one day I was coming home. I purposely broke both tips off the ski's hitting the stairs, just to end that misery. My Sister Ann and her then Boyfriend Arne bought me new skis, ski poles and booths. Game was on from there. Still old school, but new equipment. I had the ski's in my bedroom the first few days not believing my luck.
ОтветитьGreat story guys. Please do remember the youngsters that look to your leadership in these videos. Dig an avalanche pit and film it, even if you don't need to. Save their lives by teaching within the story.
ОтветитьMaking your ancestors proud! Great video.
ОтветитьNikolai i just found your channel a few days ago and just cant get enough !!!!!!!!!!!! truly inspiring !!!!!!!!!! you guys have pushed me to finnaly get into skiing !!!!!!!!! thank you !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ОтветитьLast year, at 55, i climbed and snowboarded down one of the steepest escarpments in the US, near Palm springs CA. I was not in trained shape, I made 2 prior attempts and had to gather gear and retrain skills each time. It took me one whole day from early morning to well after dark, and the ride was the shortest. The best feeling was climbing up the face and being at the top, seeing the Pacific ocean on one side and the desert more than 2 miles below. I was hurting for a few days after.
I don't know if that's the last time I'll ever do it. Ive been looking up at that way for years, dreaming of doing it.
It didn't change my life. It used to be something to tell others, but people my age either don't believe me or likely dont care.
Something happens when you age, and I don't think it's physical. The mundaneness of even making money and having things can be so deadening. I guess in order to feel alive and away from the nonsense, I just had to climb and do something that, if I perished, would at least be something grand.
Hi Both, great reports, can we get a shout out for Andy and Ange coming out 10th March first time skiing for 6 years, staying at Orso Bianco for 7th time 😊 hope to catch you at some point
Thanks Andy and Ange
Beautiful photography, wise decisions, and God keep you and bless your friendship with your buddy👍
ОтветитьAWESOME! Simply Awesome.
ОтветитьHelt fantastisk. Gratulere
ОтветитьOne of the absolute best mountain films I've ever watched. Thank-you guys. I'm not really green 😛 Not that I could ski those lines, but there were a few peaks there that I'd LOVE to climb :-D
ОтветитьThe Lord's creation is always sò beautiful. Then you get this foul language to go with it. That is definitely not appreciated, nor is it worth looking at the video.
ОтветитьMad props to the camera man
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьSome of the most underrated skiing ever, thanks for this movie😀
ОтветитьSo good. All around excellence. Good planning, discernment, letting it rip.
Beautiful sailing.
Somehow I find myself coming back to this video every year, but not only every year MULTIPLE TIMES every year around ski season. Niko really made a masterpiece of a ski movie, from the cinematography, music, and the way the story was told I nearly cant bring myself to watch another ski movie because I don't think any can compare.
Ответитьbro could you make
subtitles for your movies? i want to watch with friends that don’t speak english but the auto generated ones are true rubbish. just make english ones and maybe then let auto translate do the rest. it’s not a great cost and it’ll expand your audience!

ОтветитьLove this movie. Krister just killing it on his solo journey! 🤣
ОтветитьBest ski film in history, fuck tgr this is what we want to see 🙌
ОтветитьMy dad is a ski guide in the alps and he has multiple friends that were taken out by an avalanche so when I saw the snow break I was like: “Holy shit”. Grateful it all ended well for everyone
