You should add that you can go into the negative that wasn't apparent in the rules
Ответитьpilgrims typically had money
btw pilgrims had no walking rules
That's why this is a famous city to marathon runners, the locals will cheer you on too because they'll surely get at least some traffic. Only the king gets angry
ОтветитьHow would you get back
ОтветитьTheres this alternative route which can get you temple with q dept of -4
ОтветитьSolution: Sack Constantinople.
ОтветитьSo…how did the pilgrim leave the city?
ОтветитьWhen you abbreviate this: the P(ee)P(ee)riddle
ОтветитьI had made a solution earning me 30 silver but as soon as I started noting it down I forgot it 😭😭
Ответить“Ever since I realized that I can make money by using negatives, I have been on a pilgrimage to earn money.”
Ответить“The city’s policy of preventing visitors from taking the same path by making them keep turning counterclockwise is excellent, as it allows visitors to earn money!”
ОтветитьThis is a horribly worded "riddle". Given the standard English, I would assume that the calculations are not immediately applied at each street corner. It seems much more likely that all the additions and subtractions would be applied first after having reached the destination, then the multiplicative steps. It's like a mathematician didn't understand how legislatures think.
ОтветитьNot really a riddle but a math problem.
ОтветитьEasy, just say you're from Church so you will be exempted form the tax
ОтветитьIf I go to the bottom and I have five silver and I go up then how am I going to have 0.3125 silver
ОтветитьSo basically, if youre not a pilgrim the city gives you a bunch of money for walking in circles
ОтветитьKeep walking north until you come back around
ОтветитьTo earn tons of money so that you aren't a penniless pilgrim anymore: (N=North, E=East, S=South, W=West)
ESSEENNWSWWSSS
-1 x 2 is NOT -2 HOW DO YOU MAKE THAT ERROR
ОтветитьI feel duonia is in Belgium, because only belgians politicians would make taxes that makes no sense.
ОтветитьThe city after I walk in a circle a lot of times: we owe you 63737373734648473413113345766775646453357857575638562947393 silver
ОтветитьSrew the pilgrim laws I’m goin to gain 1000k sliver
ОтветитьSometimes I just watch these to get pissed off
ОтветитьSo uh... What happens if I start my journey owing zero silver, then walk North 1 block?
ОтветитьMe: they didn’t mention running to the temple
ОтветитьSo how you gona go back
ОтветитьI miss these.
ОтветитьRequest teded pls make riddles for 10 yr olds
Ответитьbut, when he circles around the square he starts at, it decreases one from initial tax, sooooo he could circle the starting square as much as he wants till he owes about -100 and then walk to the temple owing about -32 which i believe means that the temple owes him 32 silver coins
ОтветитьQuestion: you can go 2 right blocks (gives you +4=8 silvers) then down 4 blocks ( gives you ×16= 128 silvers) then end of the story
ОтветитьOh no,no pennies?
Now what will I shoot my bullets at to get headshots
:(
if i had a nickell for every ted ed riddle that consits of a 16 square grid, i'd have 2 nickles which isnt a lot but its weird that it happened twice
ОтветитьHere’s a way for earning 18 (finishing with -18) just by making bigger loops — down (8), left (4), left (2), down (4), down (8), right (10), right (12), right (14), right (16), up (8), up (4), up (2), left (0), down (0), left (-2), down (-4), left (-6), down (-12), down (-24), right (-22), right (-20), right (-18).
ОтветитьJust go the other way around instead of going to the welcome centre
ОтветитьThe path given as the solution sometimes touches block more than once. I thought that was forbidden in the rules. I guess I misunderstood the rules.
Ответитьlol as a normal visitor, I’d just walk north and west around sightseeing and gain money. This is my job now 😊
ОтветитьI think I found an alternate solution. Do we know if yours is the only one?
ОтветитьYou can just walk outside the city territory, and go to the tample being outside the territory, tecnicly you dont own nothing because you are not in any block
Ответитьok now how do we get out?
ОтветитьWalk all the way around the world until you get there and be a millionaire
ОтветитьOk now get your tax to 0 and go north.
ОтветитьBut how would the pilgrim leave the temple without "walking over any stretch of ground more than once"?
ОтветитьAs you enter the temple, you realize it's the wrong temple.
ОтветитьThe first solution that came to me was, including the steps already taken, EESSSEENNWWWWSSSEEEE.
This leads to a debt of 16€. I'll just use € to stand for the fictiona curency.
Then, I tried modifying it to follow nearly the same route, making it
EESSSEENNNWSWWWSSSEEEE.
This one leads to a debt of 0€, and I have solved the riddle.
1.7k dislikes, for some reason
ОтветитьWalking? Theres a tax for that.
ОтветитьForget my pilgrimage, I’m becoming rich
ОтветитьCant she walk around the city it says per block so....
Ответить
