What about seniors 70 who are disabled and living alone with no family. I get 1.120 a month. I can barely survive on that these days.

Stepping Stone Programs are needed to bust the economy. Help people help themselves to betterment.

We know of families in Southern Cal that have to team up with two to three families in one house or one apartment to be able to afford it.

Please find programs for 55+ in California.Especially housing assistance programs. I am on the verge of becoming homeless and renting is becoming outrageous for the average person to afford 😪

I think 12,000$ monthly give or take a little is the base amount needed. That doesn’t take into account out of pocket physical mental and dental medical costs. Government disability insurance doesn’t cover certain things that are necessary to be healthy.

Sadly, these types of programs train people to be dependent on others instead of becoming self-sufficient. It's sad to see that our country has degenerated to this degree.

Thank You for all of your efforts, including research and public awareness, the low income and underserved communities throughout the United States desperately need the information that you provide. Although, you can only do so much for so many people, over such a vast area and all in a timely manner, you have proven to do more than most (community leaders) by keeping us "in the know."

There has to be a rent control movement, because allowing landlord's to charge outrageous amounts is just greediness. They buy up all the home's and apartments just to rent out for massive profit's. Even with these minimum amount monthly income's, the landlords can just absorb it, so either way there needs to be rent control as an amendment to our constitution. For people who received good grade's in K to 12 schooling should be able to keep going at no charge or debt to them, something like that. Sen. Bernie Sanders has the answer. Socialized Democracy is the way.

Yes, but be very careful with guaranteed basic income. While we may need it at some point due to robots taking over many jobs, it will probably lead to Conmunism.
