I would put warm water in the peri bottle when you use it. You don’t want to jump off the toilet 😊 Also, if you take a little teddy and get a picture of him with it, you can then take pictures with it as he grows 😊

Fully recommend a tens machine! Birth with my first it truly helped so much with contractions I would never not take it with me with my next in 19 weeks time! Good luck!

A bag for Shaun too, with snacks for him, something to keep him busy, something comfy to wear! Spare socks/ underwear/ t-shirt incase you are in for a while ❤️

Good luck xx a little tip, get and pack some witchhazel to soak on your maternity pad for first few hours after birth ,soothes especially if you have any stitches xx and even if you're not breastfeeding youll need breast pads!! Leaky boobies still occur mummy lol , try to focus on thinking about the day after birth rather than the birth it'll help relieve some anxiety, always think about future and after until you're in the moment x

Just a thought, if you get admitted for more than one night (I really hope you don’t!) but bring your pillow from home. Hospital beds and bedding are far from comfortable.

Great video Charlotte! First time mum here to a 4 month old little girl. Your bags are pretty much spot on, just echoing what others have said flip flops for in the shower are great so your feet aren't touching the bare floor 🤮. A little rechargeable fan is a must labour is super hot you'll be sweating like mad and the wards after are so hot! Also the fan will come in handy for the little one on his pram 😃 Lastly I noticed you had radox, I would suggest maybe getting a sanex or something similar. If you have little tears down below it's just more gentle, the perfumes from radox etc can sting so a wash like sanex helps loads!

Huge huge congratulations, it's honestly the most amazing time of your life. Its tough but the key is to work as a team both in labour and once he arrives. Have each other, support each other and time truly goes in the blink of an eye so cherish every second ..... even the 3am crying on the bed 😂

Pack your pillow! I had my baby girl in December and my pillow was a godsend (my midwife recommended it). Hospital pillows are horrible. My pillow gave so much comfort overnight, also if he doesn’t take to aptamil try cow and gate second. I started with aptamil and she was awful on it but cow and gate is all good. Also if you dont get on with pampers nappies then i recommend fred and flo nappies. Ridiculously cheap and are AMAZING. Was a nanny for 12 years before my baby girl and they have always been my favourite 😍 also adult nappies will be your best friend. I didnt even bother with pads 😅🥰

Charlotte you're doing amazingly, it's great to hear you've had a good third trimester. An extra long phone charger would be useful as the sockets can be in very unusual places! I also found post partum cooling pads were amazing! Especially if you've had any stitches etc as they really help after going for a wee. If you combine them with the disposable underwear and the perineal bottle it can be a life saver 😊 also plenty of snacks for Shawn too!

Some bottles i recommend mam bottles abit more price wise than tommee tippee but both my children had little issues when it came to stomach problems, and even if your brestfeeding i recommend some premade milk bottles(we used kendamil as it has more natural ingredients than most)a bottle warmer just incase but you will both smash it, you will likely get home from the hospital and realise you overpacked but its all part of the fun haha good luck to you 3

Hi Charlotte x What a lovely video. You look amazing and are doing so well. Just a couple of things I could think of that might be useful. As someone who also bottle fed, midwife advised me to wear a sports bra 24/7 for the first week and a bit to stop the milk coming in. The compression from the bra is what stops the milk. And they say leave it on so you don't stimulate your ripples into thinking baby needs to feed. With sleepsuits, my little one went through 5 in one day at the hospital as lots of spit ups from the brown fluid they bring up after the birth. And lastly, milton sterilising wipes. Really.good if you accidently touch the teet of a bottle or you want to wipe anything baby may touch. Have a wonderful birthday. Don't be afraid to ask for an epidural if you feel you can't do natural. Some people feel it's a bad choice but I had my baby in 3 hours (very quick) with no breaks between contractions so it helped me so much to cope with the pain. Wishing you both all the best on the day. So excited to see your little family video once baby is here. My 3yo is so excited she keeps saying Charlotte has a baby in her tummy. I’d take a big nightgown just in case the pjs feel uncomfortable x I bought really cheap pants and took pads but when I had my kids the throw away ones were horrible 😂 if you do run out of anything for you or the baby the hospital do have back ups so you won’t be totally stuck xx good luck

I would pop a few of the witch hazel pads in a pad wrap it back up and then pop it in the freezer. This really helped me. You have got this. Such an exciting time.

How long is it till baby Sanbrooke is Coming?

Great vlog! I would take some fluffy socks for labour, my feet were freezing! Also take a spare t shirt for shawn and a toothbrush for him as you don't know how long you will be in labour for. My husband drove 45 minutes each way to get his contact lenses 🙈 😂

Good luck! You got this! I keep watching and waiting to hear if there is any news! Sounds like you've got a well packed bag. If it is anything like Canada, you won't be there very long though and probably won't have time to use most of it, but always better to be prepared!

Having never been pregnant, I loved seeing what’s in the hospital bag. I’m so glad the third trimester has been so positive for you. I know you were struggling a bit in the beginning. Really loved this little mini series & I hope the birth goes well for you. You’re all in my thoughts!

Hi Charlotte, as your labour will be in the summer, make sure you get yourself a portable fan because of how hot you will get

Good luck for your biggest adventure yet.
I would get yourself some cheap flip flops for the shower trust me you don’t want to go in barefoot.
Dark colour pjs especially on the bottom half so it don’t show leakage.
I don’t know if you have any but we took in baby’s announcement card and a Teddy for the first photo.
Lots of muslins
A smaller size outfit
Socks and a hair tie for yourself
Thin clothes for yourself I got serious sweats after birth.
A dressing gown I used for when visitors came or I walked to the loo.
Some kind of heat pack for the after pains (the pain no one talks about) it was like contractions all over again.
A non underwire bra when your milk comes in they hurt I couldn’t even wear a T-shirt.
Dry shampoo was a massive help in the early days too I was too tired and sore to wash my hair for a week post birth.
