Look like curly maple, hard as f..k
He wants to remove too much material in one pass
You could hear the motor overload. No surprise and not the planer’s failure, operators failure.
ОтветитьYou gotta stick your hand in there and push it the rest of the way.
ОтветитьDeWalt ..... Nuff said. 💯😂
ОтветитьSounds like he took off a whole foot of thickness. 😂
ОтветитьLetting the apprentice loose on your tools and best timber on his first day 😅
ОтветитьIt's fukt😂
ОтветитьAnyone else would of tried to raise the blade before it cut out
ОтветитьHere i am thinking, "what a beautiful pattern."
Ответить#1-all that scribbling is of absolutely no value
#2-WTF?
Back off a little on depth and it won't fail
ОтветитьMaple is reallllly hard...
ОтветитьAnother dumbass video from a blank blank blank. 😂😂😂
ОтветитьHard to beat curly maple
ОтветитьOperator error. Beautiful piece of wood tho
ОтветитьDewalt at is finest
ОтветитьGo easy big fella. And sharpen your planer knives.
ОтветитьIndustrial planers takes 5mm/apx 0.2" max in one go. And better take less but go more times. Less stress on the planer, less dulling of blades, and nicer finish/less tearout especially on endgrain/burl.
ОтветитьAs soon as it hit the cutter head I knew it was stopping. Try one third the cut
ОтветитьTook a little bit much there didn't ya bud
ОтветитьI have this planer. When drive rolls are cold it wont grip. Try waxing bed, cleaning drive rolls with alcohol, and warm up shop
ОтветитьLots of people saying "take lighter passes"
But the fact is, the knob doesn't have enough gear reduction to take a pass light enough to not blow the breaker with this shitty planer.
If one wants to plane wood, one must spend real money on a real planer.
Brand new machine,brand new operator
ОтветитьBefore planing, raise blade , lower blade slowly with machine running until slight contact is made make multiple passes lowering blade minutely
ОтветитьThe cry of pain coming from the planer should have been the first clue that something wasn’t quite right
ОтветитьIt would help if you build a jig for each side to keep the wood flat as it goes through
ОтветитьIf I remember correctly I believe the blades that come with that planer can’t be sharpened just replaced.
ОтветитьI used to use that same planer at my brothers house. Seems like taking a bit too much off.

ОтветитьQuilted Maple?
ОтветитьIt always happens on the prettiest pieces.
ОтветитьMy Ryobi has never failed me
ОтветитьYou definitely want that on speed one working maple like that.
ОтветитьTo deep
ОтветитьLooks like amp draw and tripped the breaker
ОтветитьGreat quilted guitar slab
ОтветитьGet a real planer
ОтветитьOoh, that’s rare squiggly line maple!
ОтветитьI could tell immediately from the sound that you are trying to take off WAY too much in one pass
Ответитьohhhh its maaaaagic
ОтветитьYou’re not supposed to take a quarter inch cut my guy
ОтветитьWhat kind of wood is that it almost looks like tiger maple or curly maple? It will plane and look all wavy and uneven but check it with a straight edge and you’ll find that’s flat.
ОтветитьMust have been all that unnecessary crayon 🖍️!
ОтветитьAnyone else expecting drop it like it’s hot to start playing?
ОтветитьDamn dude , going a lil hard at it ya think?
ОтветитьBlue a fuse .
ОтветитьYo that thing sounded STRAINED I know those dew alts are powerful too.
Ответить…You got greedy.
ОтветитьYou can hear that thing struggling those pencil marks arent an 1/8in thick man
ОтветитьWhat did you fuckin expect????
