No body ran you off the beach??

I detected the Bahama's in the 90's did quite well. Got alot of stares with my Fisher 1280X on the beach and in the water. I found alot more gold jewelry in Bahama's. Silver on the Mexico Side.

I modified my scoop. I made it more Heavy Duty. With a Curved top shaft. And a kick plate to push into the harder areas. I added pipe foam to the shaft wrapped in pipe tape so the Scoop. Would float in the water next to me if I dropped it.
These mods will help you processing of finds I have water and beach hunted since 1984. Have fun.

Any issues getting your detector through customs?

I hope the treasure hunting gets better for you while you are down in Mexico. It can't get much worse. I don't know about other people, but I like this airing time much better. It makes for a much more enjoyable Sunday morning. GL & HH.
