Sounds like globalism.
Ответитьthe moment you stop the video every sound suddenly feel so thin
Ответитьwhy do politicians not learn...
ОтветитьInteresting when you look at the EU relief package: common debt, grants and loans. Only when the rich nations were affected were we able to come together and help everyone, though negotiations were tough, they achieved what was politically impossible a few years ago
ОтветитьSo basically Greece fucked EU
Ответитьthe EU should just go away. It’s not a good idea anymore
ОтветитьWhat crisis, it’s a stable and functioning currency.
ОтветитьI as a non Greek citizen think Grexit would be very good. Good for Greece as you said (which should be the end of the conversation because Greece should help their own people). I don't know why you said it would be bad for others, it seems very good for other EU countries (exept Germany), the end of the Euro and EU would help so many people and economies, but Germany would lose power (still good for non Germans though).
ОтветитьWell, Germany might have some power, but alone it can't get anything done... Just if any country fails you know who is paying the debt. And if I pay for someone that fucked up then why should I do something at all. Not saying that we shouldn't help but I won't pay for bonds so that others might spend more. Well, guess rather pay once and be done with it than carrying that on like 2060 and then pay for even more...
But well I might be a bit less pro Eu and Euro. At least not with that many countries... A bit less or another system would work better.
It's like same in India
ОтветитьBASS TO THE MOON
ОтветитьWon’t printing more money just less to inflation, which is bad?
ОтветитьI still don't get it man.
ОтветитьLots of this video is just copy pasted from the Bloomberg video, almost word for word
ОтветитьThis video is so bad holy fuck
ОтветитьTitle: What created the Euro crisis?
Don't you think that pointing at Greece, is a very unfair and easy answer to that question taking into consideration that Greece was never actually poor and the biggest Balcan economy with by far the largest GDP in the region? Yeah the debt was a thing but I think all these years all you guys have created a very disheartening stereotype for my country focusing only on the recent past! Before you would ask people about Greece and they would say democracy, civilization, now you ask them and say crisis! By undermining a country for a dark page in its history is making no good! And btw it has been already 4 years since that video was made and my country has almost 4% GDP growth, the economy is running again and speeding up and our debt is being repaid slowly! According to predictions Greek economy is going to to exceed most EU economies in growth and development by 2030! So Greece is not poor and was never poor but the scapegoat for this whole tragedy called euro!
Print more money like USD.enjoy tax payer money
Ответить@History Scope Germany did not give loans to Greece reluctantly. The loans were a sneaky way for Greece to pay back its debt to the banks of Germany and France (in other words Germany and France bailed out their banks by saying they are giving all this money to "help" Greece). And Germany profits a lot from Greece's financial disaster. These loans are actually an economical occupation/colonization. Greece has sold out most of its resources and infrastructure to Germany (for example Fraport and the airports of Greece), China (Cosco and Piraeus) and the list goes on. The rest of the video was correct though, so good job. In essence, Greece's financial crisis is a blessing for the oligarchy of EU. And for the heavily exporting countries of the Eurozone. Imagine being able to export as much as you want with out having to worry that your currency will become too strong/expensive because you have the poor south balancing things out for you.
ОтветитьArtificially low interest rates ruin the euro
Ответитьi'm not Baltic State Citizen, but you made a mistake saying Latvia (and on the map you pointed Lithuania) and vice versa with Lithuania
ОтветитьI wonder if other non European countries, for example, south American countries, could be able to adopt the euro
Ответитьsorry, is it just me or the audio of this video is really different from the other ones made by HS?
ОтветитьWhile I agree, the video is very very biased. It would be fantastic if other videos were a bit more neutral in the language used.
The main problem still exists, many people expect their government to provide service and pensions, but avoid, at all costs, to pay taxes if humanly possible, being it "forgetting" to declare income, or direct tax fraud´, while wanting to retire after only 30 years on the job market, meaning someone else have to pay for them the other, estimated, 50 years they live.
Fun fact: Greece voted to leave the Euro in 2015, and despite most people voting to change currency, the EU ignored the result.
ОтветитьTERIBLY wrong Latvia - Lithuania borders and places on map!!
ОтветитьThe UK has it’s laws, bank and currency. Plus it’s a welfare state . Being in the Eu system would be disastrous. The Uk was correct to be independent .
ОтветитьEU caused it
ОтветитьJust bail the debt and forfeit your political future. Boomer politicians should be retiring anyways.
ОтветитьInterestingly, one of the most unnecessary things that politicians and government spend on is pensions. Instead of having the government and the younger generation being expected to pay pensions for the older generation. On top of that, many people especially high income earners don’t pay their fair taxes, a wealth tax would be much better than income tax as it would target a persons net worth instead of their income from a job and would be easier to keep tabs on politicians net worth too.
I would rather have a system where a business when paying an employee, must pay in full their salary and pay into something similar to a pension fund but owned by the employee, only after the employer has paid at minimum 10% of the employees total salary in that specific fund will the employee match it. Plus it can be as late as 3 months in case the company is in poor financial health but if the economy is good and the company is going strong, the entire executive board, accounting section and finance head can be liable both to fines and prison time.
this video is biased and has misinfomartions ,dont waste your time .
ОтветитьVoting in any of the EU countries is a joke. EU is run by unelected officials and govt leaders the people thought they elected has no powers at all. They are all subservient to EU. Each member country is basically just a puppet of the EU governing body. and mind you .... The EUCB handles and controls all the money .... so no member county can do anything without approval of the EUCB. How are they sovereign?
ОтветитьNow I see why Thomas Jefferson did not want a central bank.
ОтветитьGood video, but you overlook the culpability of Greece. It did not meet the criteria required to join the Euro, so they just faked it. They just wanted the cheap credit, lied to get it, and now are pissed when required to pay it back. Their voters didn't think.
Ответить"Culturally diverse when it comes to government spending."
That's a friendly way of saying that the Southern EU countries are just very bad at fiscal politics.
So basically capitalism. Even the USSR didn't interfere with constituent republics like the EU does
ОтветитьWe need more bass
ОтветитьThe Euro is useless on Monday, January 1, 2024. 25 years of Euro has gone wasted.
ОтветитьThere can't be economic unity unless there is political unity. And we know that each European country has its own political agenda.
ОтветитьDuring ww2:
- Croats forced Jewish and Serbian children to eat bread mixed with glass, in Croatian children concentration camps......
Don't trust money
ОтветитьWhere are the sources in the videos?
ОтветитьThe bleak image of Greece suffering until 2060 was greatly exaggerated
ОтветитьGiving freedoms to unelected Brussels leaders is extremely risky. Loss of courts and monetary freedoms is another form of dictatorship. How is Greece and Italy abd Spain fairing with debt, they were screwed by the Euro and harsh restrictions. Will be shocked if Euro survives in five years. Forcing migrants is another loss of freedoms by unelected bureaucrats. Trading union is great but everything else is a fail.
Ответить2060?!?!?!?!
ОтветитьFiscal mismanagement is the problem ! EU countries can not print money to buckle the budget anymore ! These countries have to borrow money every year , and they struggle to pay back , every year , growing debt !
Ответить
