I love how it starts off by immediately dropping a 'fact' that is wrong. The Roman Empire lasted until 1453 AD....that's a little bit longer then 600 years.

Rome fell because they adopted Christianity and its precepts of love and forgiveness and empathy. Just observe how current Christian nations manage illegal migration, especially migrants who import horrible ideas. They become tolerant of intolerance. Christianity lost half its holdings to Islam, and today allows the same in the west. Christian ecosystems have one great flaw: blind caring…turn the other cheek. Read the brilliant writings of GK Chesterton.

The Roman soldiers' battle against the forerunners of the Germans and Austrians is similar to one fought in the Bible when a Hebrew soldier asked God to allow this sun to stand still to win a major battle. The story is in the Old Testament.

I have a Roman Centurions uniform I wear to go Trick or Treat with my , now 3 year old , grandson son ROMAN , His father is named after Julius Caesar . I also have a 4.000 Plastic 1/72 scale Roman Army with 900 Egyptian allies as well as a force of 400 odd Gaul's . I saw the movie Sparticus in 1960 when I was Seven ( as in the hills surrounding Rome ) and was impressed with , not only the coordinated uniforms of the Legions , but their disciplined formations ! They took bath's ( scene : Crassus with a young Caesar ) and Rome looked clean ? Sparticus looked dirty and their battle line looked like Wood Stock , plus he was a slave for a reason ( he deserted when he was a Roman Auxiliary , a crime in Rome ) . My grandmother , who took me to see it , also had me do research and my findings were Sparticus could have left Rome when he made it north , only to turn back to revenge his friend . Looting and Raping were in season ? Freedom fighter & good guy Hero to the oppressed ? Unlike the movie , Sparticus had 2000 Romans fight to the death when Crixus was brought to justice . In the movie , he gives a passionate speech when two Romans are made to fight to the death . " Are we like the Romans " , he pleaded ! Bullshit ! I was in the Army for 10 years and two of those were spent outside Trier Germany ( 2000 years old in 1984 ) , my old girlfriend still lives there and we have recommunicated our love once again ( went back in 2018 ) . As Sir Laurence Olivier quoted " Rome is woman you must embrace yourself in " ! Rome is a though of mind , not physical , but all consuming in it's Power and Glory ! I have a recording and production music company ( private ) called " Xth Legion productions " with the 10th Legion banner as my logo ( see my face book pictures page ) Make Rome Great Again !

So basically 96 years after Rome became Catholic, it was toast. Then you had the dark ages, which the Catholic Church controlled. Then the protestant reformation, which led to the enlightenment, and to the USA, then Europe rejected God, sacrificing the unborn to the devil, and in another 30 years will be an Islamic caliphate with sharia law.
Reject Jesus and this is what you get.

Close but not quite.
The Templars split into 3 groups.
One group went to Portugal, one group ended up in London and Italy (some were Lombardi and medici) and some made their way to Switzerland (look at their flag)
From all of these came groups that help settle the land known as America.
America was an experiment sponsored by and partially financed by the Templars.

Not to be picky but the armor worn in this video is not period-correct. Legionaries did not wear Gaulica helmets and Lorica Segmentata until the early Empire. Nonetheless, this video provides some very good information. I find it very ironic that Marius would save the Republic and two decades later, his former subordinate Commander Sulla, would become dictator and declare him an "Enemy of the Republic".

These low budget tv shows have the Roman officers using plate Segmentata… not correct for 113 to 100 BC. You do not see this until until 26 AD onward. They would have chain maille…. Every Roman. Marius gave amour to all soldiers… and came out of your pay. They also fought in tight formations and not Willy nilly. Like a football team with a tight line in 4 to 8 rows deep. Throwing pillium and regular spears (lanceum).

Only senior barbarian leaders would have chain maille.

Also the red Roman crest is for parades, not battle. Officers wear them sideways.

ROMAN do not wear cloaks except when cold… often Romans wore off white Tunica (large T-Shirt), with Red being dress. Black, green, brown, bright white and other colors were worn.
