You need to research the Ukrainian war. This has been going on since 2014. The Ukrainian war has been leveled against their people. Wars have been leveled against the people of Ukraine, which has always been a part of Russia, during this past period of our history. 14,0000 people were killed in the Ukraine in 2014 in Ukraine because the reining government don’t want the people to speak or have their Russian heritage destroyed by the Ukrainian government. Ukraine doesn’t even have borders that have been established by any body politic against Russia. They are a part of Russian. Bio weapons labs are located in Ukraine. This is a menace to everyone on Earth! Russia is doing the world a favor by destroying these bio weapons labs. I just came to this from a video of (Jean Paul Jean?), and I can’t speak to the musicality, but I could actually understand the lyrics in this one.

Austin's is the only version of this song that brings me to tears every single time. He makes me FEEL it.

The thought that this kid is a POP SINGER .... shows a monumental shortcoming in his catalog, himself, with limited players & of Course with Home Free .... this High Tenor would lay to waist a stage vocalist, regardless of how classically trained he may be. Shear talent and range, control and natural timbre so rare DEFINES THIS YOUNG MAN. Hope you reconsider having had a glimpse now of his chops ! GBjj

Hello Tara. I watched your reaction and analysis of David Draymond's version of Sound of Silence. You pointed out his choice to hold the consonant at the end of a phrase, just as Austin did in this video. That sort of observation is what makes professional music reactors so fun to watch. You point things out to me that may have been the reason I liked something, but that I did not notice on a conscious level because I didn't have the technical knowledge needed to put it in to context. Once you have pointed something like that out, I find that I do notice those things in performances that I hear later on.

You really need to check out Home Free’s “Skull and Bones” video. Double bass by Chance (who wrote it) and Tim. Awesome!

Austin Brown has a fabulous voice as do all of Home Free. All different but brilliant. You should listen to his version of Nessun Dorma with Rob Lundquist.

Obviously he has an incredible voice. However watching the emotional reactions of the vocal coach is quite amazing.

Changing the initial phrasing was a negative. Many parts over sung…pushing too hard missed a good emotion the song needs. Vibrato was rough in spots. Falsetto would help in spots. The background set mixed white and dark colors which didn’t help the song. This felt like a first take.
