It's strange seeing the comments on this performance versus the comments on original from Jennifer Holiday.

It's like a time capsule. On this video, people are either cynical. If they're not cynical, they're using these all encompassing terms like "greatest ever vocal performance of all time".

On the other video, people just appreciate it. No one criticized it, and the ones that liked it just liked it. There was no need to call the "best of all time".

All that said, Jennifer Hudson's version was just as good as the original one, except the original was just a woman and her microphone. To me, there's something more "pure" about that.
