RT on it being harder to do less! We're doing the exact same thing - parents, siblings and a family supper - and its been so difficult to make any decision, and it makes me mad knowing it would've been easier if we had just ignored what we wanted and done the whole big sha-bang.

Oh my god I am cracking up hearing about going commando with boob tape 😂 We are 23 days away from our wedding - which was also supposed to be small - and I cannot WAIT for it to be over. Initially it’s fun but once the cost starts coming in, eeesh. The line to straddle between cost and class is a fine one, and we’ve wrestled it to the ground. I love the “realness” in this video because I found the whole process kind of miserable. Thank you thank you for reassuring me I’m not alone!!

We got married at city hall in Montreal. Luckily everything is set up at no extra cost on the actual day. We treated close friends to brunch afterwards. The best day! A friend took pics but really we should’ve hired a professional photographer. Great recap! Beautiful day.

Very funny moments! I hadn’t laughed so much in front of a video in a long time. You were so right not to spend so much money for things which are not that important. As long as the ceremony is fun and full of love, it’s all what matters.

Where I come from the girls parents pay for the wedding so my parents payed for my wedding and we just had bought a house so after the wedding we went to our new home then two days later we went to our honeymoon we went to Hawaii

Thats weird a women don't want a big wedding I always wanted a big when that was my dream since a little girl and I did end up having a big wedding I had 400 people at my wedding it was great now I been married for 39 years had 3 kids and have 5 grand kids and we are still so love each other so much I got married at 23 years old my husband was 24 we been together since was 15 and he was 16 he's the best husband ever.

i was DYING when you were talking about the boob and vag situation omg😂. but yeah, i admire your approach, i totally get it and it seems like my dream wedding day. trust me, i've been through wedding prep before (we broke up instead of getting married lol) and I FEEL YOU DEEPLY.

My dress is the ONE thing I would change about my wedding day if I had the chance. I struggled to find a dress I loved and felt comfortable in. My family and I visited about two dozen bridal stores and I went through 3 potential dresses and was just so overwhelmed. In the end I stumbled across a plain dress in a formalwear store that my aunty (former wedding seamstress) was going to alter for me to look like a dress I fell in love with but was discontinued and did not have my size off the rack. Lo and behold, altering that was not an easy thing to do - I didn't have my completed dress until THREE days before my wedding. If I could redo it, I would find a plain fitted dress with nothing glitzy about it and be happy. I'm super thankful for the effort my family went to help me get the dress I did have, but I feel it could have been a better experience all round.
