It's incredibly risky to buy a product from a new company that depends on cloud servers. Obviously, we saw what happened to the humane pin. Even if this was a good consumer-facing product -- I don't think it is -- that would be a concern.

I never understand why anyone thought a product like this was a good idea. I mean it doesn't really do anything better than what your phone already does, it just does less of it.

You're the first person to actually give a good use case for the rabbit r1! They've been updating it a lot, but nothing to fix the core problems.

I've been meaning to unlock android on mine so I can try using it as a GPS unit for our car. That's a usecase where the simcard might make sense if you want realtime data.
