ОтветитьThanks for this story. You should report on the Gulf Stream that circles Florida. It makes Florida great.
ОтветитьNever stepped foot on Boca Grande but caught some good fish at the phosphate docks
ОтветитьThe rich have ruined it
ОтветитьI just left there 2 hrs ago lol
ОтветитьThis was made in 2004 for anyone wondering
ОтветитьThey throw cabbage that turns your brain into emotional baggage.
ОтветитьIf you love someone, set them free. If they come back they're yours; if they don't they never were.
ОтветитьI love these documentaries about Florida👍🏽❤️🇺🇸. Is it me or is the “Captain “ a bit “long in the tooth?” 😳😜
Ответить❤ my favorite spot in all of Florida
ОтветитьWhen k was a young man my father bought a condo in the beachfront. The first group of condos after you cross the bridge at the northern tip from Placida. Boca Grande North. It was so special I have life long memories of my grandma and my parents there. Fishing and bbqing the fish on the waters edge with amazing sunsets golf carts tennis. Amazing to go back in time ;)
ОтветитьWHAT HAPPENED TO THE INDIANS - DUPONT SAID THEY DISAPPEARED - WAS THERE A MAGICIAN LIVING THERE?
ОтветитьTRASH DUPONT, BUSH, AND TUCKER CARLSON LIVED THERE - KARMA
ОтветитьI wish I could live here. My fiancé and I have thought about moving close to the island. Then working at some of the restaurants or resorts. We both have a range of skills.
ОтветитьBoca GranDE... since it's in Spanish you pronounce the DE in the end.
ОтветитьI just spent a week there on my boat......it was in the 80s in December, beautiful beaches and amazing for bird watching (or manatees) and other wildlife. The old train station has a nice restaurant on the end......this history of the island that I saw really makes sense after watching this vid.
ОтветитьI asked my wife to marry me by the lighthouse on the beach. and no I'm not a tourist I'm born and raised here LOL
Ответить" I would love it if it could be the way it was then, but times have changed and you can't go back ". Who hasn't fantasized about returning to a point in time that was special in their formative years. If only...
ОтветитьI'm just here for the trains :D
ОтветитьRich can't exist without the poor...how ironic...
ОтветитьHow many of you watching this think the song at the end is worthless Jimmy Buffet? It isn't.........It's a guy named Jim Morris who is now passed away but always served to fool people.
ОтветитьMy father worked at the port for 42 years. He and my mother raised six kids there myself being the youngest. I am constantly stunned by the use of made up "facts" about Boca Grande. People say the Orange Blossom Special was the name of the train that brought phosphate to the port. Not true.....The phosphate trains were designated #387 and #380. The PASSENGER train was sometime referred to as the Orange Blossom Special but in truth..........the OBS never came to Boca Grande.
ОтветитьMy profile pic Boca Grande. Great history, Thk u
ОтветитьVery interesting.
ОтветитьJP MORGAN JR. died out there.
ОтветитьDickey Colman looked so young.
