I'm usually a pedal out to where I'm going just have the motor sitting at the back then use it to get back in after a day of fishing

If I’m adding a motor to my kayak I’ll leave the kayak at home and take the real boat.

I use my motor but I put the pedals to use every now and then. Spot lock on the motor just can’t be beat.
