I desperately want this on DVD !!😊
ОтветитьTom Plats looks like the woman who does Bart Simpsons voice
ОтветитьNot one bloated gut .
Ответитьshow what they look like now lol, if they are still alive
ОтветитьAlbert Beckles is 90-odd now. Astonishing that he was still straight-up competing (and into the 90s) and that he was also there in Pumping Iron, even though he isn't mentioned. Talk about longevity.
ОтветитьDa gehörte ich auch dazu, war Super 😊
Ответитьsteroid freaks back then steroid freaks now
Ответитьi was there when Lois Fretas was training in the 80,s it was magic RIP JOE GOLD
Ответитьwhen JOE WEIDER sold his empire for more then 500,000.00 million dollars, yes ,he created he left ,and never gave a dollar back to the industry he created, after his exit .his son started an Art Gallery in L.A called GALLERY19C ,the famaily only did it for money not love .thats the proof
ОтветитьMan was i born in the wrong era
ОтветитьI understand his trying to recreate the past with his car, that can be almost anything to try and bring back the good old days.
ОтветитьThose were the days lee Haney tom platz and rich gaspari and many more. Paradise looks really nice 🙂
ОтветитьMissing Mike Mentzer ...
ОтветитьAll credits go to steroids
ОтветитьVanity vanity
ОтветитьLee Haney was light years ahead of everyone in his heyday........
ОтветитьThat corvette was only 24-25 years old back then. 🤓 Barely a classic then as it is now. A 60 corvette and Tom Platz are both, now certified classics! 👍👍👍👍
I began training shortly before this era. I ordered some manual advertised in a pamplet and all I remember was a flexing bicep. I was too poor in the late 70s, early 80s to afford a weight set so I kept the gallon milk jugs and filled them with water and used those. I think it was 83-84 I was able to get my own concrete filled plastic covered weight set from Sears. I put those through their paces. It wasn't until around 87-88 that I was on my own and able to crank things up a notch. And wasnt until the late 80s I was able to join a gym with actual steel plates.
I really miss those days. And the days not long after when muscle media 2000 was the best BB magazine of all time. It inspired me to find connections in Mexico and Europe back in the Steris, Brovel days. From europe Green Nile sust and Omnadrens. Univet winny, all long before UG stuff was prevalent. Always cycling and never always on. Being responsible and knowing the likes of Chad Nichols being an idiot long before most did.
Those days are long gone. Yes there are mass monsters now but they have short life spans and never become classic in the classic sense. Only legends to the young up and comers in a day and age were you can somehow be considered a legend at 22 years old before really paying your dues. Social media is a serious problem with society and humanity. Everythingbis overnight and short term. No real meat amd no real charactor and longevity. Seeing amd knowing that is what I miss the most.
Bob, Paris, the second coming of Frank Zane.
ОтветитьMan, those are the days when you could walk out of doctor kerr's office and get 100 DB for $10 Even caught Mr Natural in there.😂
ОтветитьWhere are all the homeless thugs shooting and stabbing people
Ответить1980s - Is she having fun or what?
2023 - sir how many sets you got left
the woman with the white hair ruined the whole video
Ответить1 hour of "bad esecutions" video.
But i love that era...
Used to live in Venice Beach back in 1988, was training at he World Gym who was owned by Joe Gold & Arnold Schwarzenegger, great times, and yup, the 80s were awesome!
ОтветитьPlatz looked better than Arnold and mentzer
ОтветитьALgorithm.
ОтветитьBob Paris was beautiful
ОтветитьRich Gaspari.
ОтветитьImpresionante el Sr. Platz
Ответитьgay comunity
Ответитьfais chier avec tes coupures de son!
ОтветитьBob Paris had perhaps one of the GOAT aesthetic physiques, it hurt when I heard some years later that he was a gay man. That was my problem, I worked on it, and it doesn’t bother me one iota now. He’s a great guy and it’s wonderful to hear his thoughts and frustrations with the status quo in pro bodybuilding. It mirrors mine 100%, the realisation that steroids were a must to get anywhere in that world was the reason why I high tailed it out of bodybuilding and into competitive martial arts. I really hope Bob had a great life and career after he left bodybuilding.
ОтветитьAl Beckles, was the consummate professional, he and Boyer Coe were the first split peak biceps I ever saw. I always felt the Weiders never respected him as much as they should’ve. Everyone knows the Weiders had a racist edge to the way they ran business. One of GOAT Lee Haney, never got the exposure he should’ve, the Sergio Oliva early 70s story is legendary, ‘Black Prince’ Robby Robinson got only a token ride on the Weider bandwagon throughout his career… then Al Beckles a mind blowing ageless wonder -jokingly referred to as ‘Senior citizen’ during the Mr.O intro in this documentary, that was no joke, that sounded almost spiteful.
ОтветитьIt’s incredible to watch and hear one of my bodybuilding heroes Tom Platz talk about his lifestyle, his dream ‘Vette car and longing to recreate that golden ‘60s California feel good era that he cherished. I actually tried to do exactly the same in the 2000s when I finally had a career and money to do stuff. I bought my dream car, a black Porsche 928 S4 -a car that I drooled over during my teenage years in bodybuilding, at that time looking up to bodybuilders like Tom, Arnold, Sergio Oliva, Mentzer, etc… the beautiful super model women, the designer clothes and the inspiring music of the early ‘80s. Too bad I never had a clue about pro bodybuilding so I moved into martial arts and got my ass kicked there instead 😂
ОтветитьNegli anni 70' ,80' ,in Italia siamo cresciuti con il mito di Arnold, Zane, Nubret, Tom Platz, Danny Padilla e Franco e con il mito della California!
ОтветитьNothing about Mike Metzner who only trained doing 1 set for each muscle group. Haha. At least he claims. Flex Wheeler should have been on this video.
ОтветитьSp sad to see the industry and what its become
ОтветитьWHATS UP THE AUDIO GOING OFF.
ОтветитьSo that truck was right-handed drive?
ОтветитьBack then California was the place to be, now it's just a place to be homeless
ОтветитьHow that makes sense I'm against it but he used it😊😊😊
ОтветитьI❤ Caspari
ОтветитьTo this day Haney is the most awesome one.
ОтветитьGOLDEN ERA OF POPULARIZING STEROIDS
