Protest at the Courthouse in Victorville

The parents of a teen-age couple, Cody Thompson, 18, and Bodhisattva "Bodhi" Sherzer-Potter, shot to death execution-style in an abandoned military bunker near Helendale more than four years ago are protesting outside the courthouse Friday, frustrated over the length of time it is taking to get the case to trial. They believe defense attorneys, for Collin Lee McGlaughlin and David Smith are using every stall tactic imaginable, and a ballot measure to revoke the death penalty in California is expected to delay the case even further.
