Love watching your podcast and seeing all the new yarn in the shop. Ty
ОтветитьCorrine, thank you for your wonderful words of wisdom. You’re an amazing women!
ОтветитьHi all!
ОтветитьCorinne, I think cutting away the knitted fabric around the armholes of your vest is a good way to go! In fact, some Scandinavian patterns tell you to knit the top of the sweater without any neck opening and then reinforce with a sewing machine and basically cut out a semicircle for the neck, which is similar to what you will be doing but just around the armhole. The vest looks so lovely - would be a pity to give it up! You can do it! 😊
Ответитьanother great show
ОтветитьI haven't missed one of your shopcasts in the three years since I joined the group. This is the first comment I've left because it is the first episode I've been able to watch on the Friday when it comes out. I especially enjoy seeing the progress on your projects.
ОтветитьSuch a great shopcast- I love Nana Duck!!!!!! The new (to TWT) John Arbon yarn is a true WOW. Maggie, please bring your fair isle sweater to the next shopcast - I'd love to see it!!!
ОтветитьLoved the segment on combing the fleece and Kelsie’s hat. Really enjoyed my time with you.
ОтветитьI didnt know i needed an emotional support chicken! Thanks again for another fun shopcast.
ОтветитьI absolutely love looking at all the beautiful yarn colors behind you. Another great episode ladies!
ОтветитьLOVE your cowl !
ОтветитьYour email today gave me some serious FOMO for the Bakers Dozen so I had to order 2 along with some stocking stuffers for me!
ОтветитьThanks again for a wonderful podcast!!
ОтветитьJust wanted to say how much I am enjoying my Selection box! I love the colors I received, and have great plans to make several projects from the suggestion card—possibly even a Christmas gift or two.
ОтветитьHi, I'm so excited for j&s sampler pack. I'm also looking forward for Agnus Kroft to come back in stock.
ОтветитьYour shopcast brightens my day, thank you! I find that knitting comforts my soul in tough times and it is lovely to know others feel the same! I love the striped socks and didn’t see the yarn on their website, perhaps it isn’t available anymore. Happy Thanksgiving knitting friends!
ОтветитьWatching your shop cast just makes my Friday evening so relaxing and inspiring. Corinne, welcome to the joys of toy-knitting. Whenever I knit one of Cinthia’s patterns I just marvel at how clear and accurate they are and how much personality each animal has. Once the eyes get put in, the animal seems to just come alive. Thanks to the rest of TWT crew for all of your segments. My head is filled with inspiration. Thanks so much!!
ОтветитьThanks for another fun podcast!
Ответитьwhat synchronicity -- I sat down this morning to knit a bit wearing my Hirne cardigan, and started up the shopcast and there's Maggie in hers! such a lovely pattern, and lovely shopcast as usual!
ОтветитьMy six year old grand daughter snaffled the Emotional Support Chicken I made as soon as she was finished. She is now called “Rainbow Chicken”.
ОтветитьAlways a pleasure to get my WT fix and all the yarn inspiration you guys provide 😃👏🏼🥰🧶🧶🧶 really love that mosaic crochet and knit chart book 😃🤩
ОтветитьCorrinne-the Duck is adorable...welcome to toy knitting club🤩
ОтветитьMaggie and Corrine just made me smile.😊 They have such a wonderful rapport. Hope everyone at the Woolly Thistle is having a great day!❤️
ОтветитьDelighted was the perfect word to describe how I felt when opening the Selection Box. I couldn’t wait to see what was inside. I am still enjoying just admiring all that yarny goodness in one place. I may have already added to the collection to make a vest. Thank you and Happy Thanksgiving.
ОтветитьI am so excited about coming back over to the US and visiting The Woolly Thistle!!
I'm watching - while working another sample to bring in my DK - while the snow falls heavily outside here in Perthshire, Scotland. ☃
Enjoyed your shop cast! I am working on Horacio the Donkey (of Mouche & friends). Just love making these! Glad Corinne is enjoying Nanna the duck.
ОтветитьCorinne you make me want to try toy knitting for the first time!
ОтветитьThanks Corrine and Maggie for another Shopcast. Corrine I love the start of Nana Duck. Your daughter will treasure her.
ОтветитьThanks for all the inspiration! I've added some great projects to my queue!
ОтветитьEmma’s cup cozy pattern is the reason I was excited to purchase your J&S grab bag. I agree that it’s also a delightful way to swatch out new colors.
ОтветитьLoved this episode! You always have great potential "eye candy" projects, but am eewwhhh la la-ing over the new John Arbon aran weight yarn you featured and see a project in the future! I have two Jamieson & Smith Baker's Dozen packs coming and I can't wait!!!! Thank you for the great offer just in time for the holidays!! Happy Thanksgiving to you and your woolly crew!!
ОтветитьLove a new shopcast and all of your contributors! Ruth’s crochet projects are always such fun and I love Emma’s new cozy pattern. Kelsey — such cute hat and stash colorwork cardigan projects! Wools that are a bit crunchy and rustic are my absolute favorites. Corinne - your cowl and sweater pattens are just stunning.❤
ОтветитьLove learning about your vest surgery, Corinne!
ОтветитьThanks so much for another wonderful compilation of great patterns.
ОтветитьAll the woolly goodness! Saving up for J&S cones! Hard to decide which colors though! Prefer the “heather-y” blends, so yummy!
Love the colorwork tips (ANY bits-n-bobs will do)!
Thanks for everything! JA Appledore yarn colors…Delish! The names are a hoot!
I love my selection box!!!! Thank you. It’s my treat to myself.
ОтветитьKelsey thank you so much for the thoughts about guilt about gift knitting! And the reminder about estimating yardage on the leftovers. I keep giving myself tasks to knit for others and its getting out of hand I think. It doesn't make me selfish! Thank you all to the WT team!
ОтветитьI’m so glad people are enjoying emotional support chickens, they do help (a little). Very interesting to hear Corinne’s vest modifications
ОтветитьOh, my; the Appledore colors are so pretty! Love Nana Duck - I need to knit those critters. I think Horatio (the donkey) will be first on my needles, when I get there. It is a challenging time, so I appreciate your Shop Casts even more.
ОтветитьNana duck is so sweet! I think she’s my favorite.
ОтветитьYou guys make me giggle. thank you to is much needed. And I want all of it. Go Emma and Kelsey! Ruth is lovely too.
ОтветитьThanks for a great show. Living in Arizona makes me jealous of all of you wearing beautiful woolly wools.
ОтветитьThank you for the great segments...I appreciate Emma showing how he combs her wool. after watching, i ordered (from Bam fiberworks) the same board and clasps, it would make my life easier (I have the same combs). And thank you Kelsey for voicing what we don't dare to say sometimes...we do NOT have to knit(sew, crochet, weave....) just because we can !
Ответитьreally enjoyed the podcast!
ОтветитьLove it all! Particularly Corrine discussing her process with the vest and Kelsey reducing the pressure to gift knit. Human beings, not human doings!
ОтветитьI’m finally, finally, making myself a Vanilla sweater! I just ordered and I’m itching to get started! Luckily, or unfortunately, I don’t have anyone who wants knits for Christmas so I can start right away.
ОтветитьI really enjoyed Ruth’s segment and the review of the mosaic book with comparisons of knitted and crocheted motifs.
ОтветитьHello Corinne and Maggie, wonderful shopcast. To the TWT team have a wonderful Thanksgiving 🧡🧡
ОтветитьCorinne, so sorry to hear about the loss of your kitty. I have a kitty that is always on my lap when I sit down to knit so I know how much you miss her.
