'I don't eat humans................................................................................................................ NOT ANYMORE' 0_0
ОтветитьThe climbing thing is wierd to me too!
ОтветитьHi
ОтветитьI don't think Macaque's would be in the game, even though the lols.
ОтветитьGeekism; ”I don’t eat humans!” ”Not anymore...” Me: Uhm.......... FBI...? 😶
Ответитьdoes it have to be a certain height above?
ОтветитьThe guest issue I had too, as well as with animals that can climb like my mandrills they have a glitch where the game constantly boxes them up when they get close to the fence
ОтветитьI believe you can have small batchelor groups of Mandrills, although I never tried it. I think they only get aggressive and stupid when you introduce the ladies. Much like humans.
ОтветитьInside ape enclosures almost never contain water pools cuz apes dont like water, they usually have drink stations so you could have gone for the easy option XD
Ответить"Ï dont eat humans anymore" Ï think I know now why you moved away from the UK 😱
ОтветитьDude we need u to build zoo's
Ответить"Our contractor can't touch wood" 😂
ОтветитьThought beta playtime was over?
ОтветитьCant wait for the game to drop. Love you're videos cant wait to see what you and everyone else builds.
ОтветитьI think, this speed setting is really great. Would love, if you could sprinkle it in now and then in your build videos.
Oh, and the habitat is awesome. Love the mix of realism. I think, you got to try out a lot of different techniques in this one.
I found out that if you leave the game running after the beta stopped, you still can play, you just don’t have access to the animal trading
ОтветитьCatch Jonti saying "Hello Clarence" by accident next video...
ОтветитьI had a hippo die of dehydration while sitting in a pool of water so it might just be the beta haha
Ответитьquick side note: Exhibits like yours only look like that of they have an outside part. indoor only exhibits usually have soft coverage for the paws
ОтветитьI don't eat humans... not anymore
Jonti Sparrow, 2019
"our last contractor developed a wood allergy and was afraid of heights.. thats why we called you in."
ОтветитьThat Mandrill's face at the end.
"You're building me the perfect prison. And it still won't be enough."
Jonti: “I don’t eat humans”
Me: phew (:
Jonti: “not anymore...”
Me: AHHHHHHHH D:
So from my experience, your guest can walk over the null barriers but if your animal gets even the slightest bit close to it, the guest begin to freak out. So I tend to over exaggerate the null barriers wayyy outside from the natural barriers/architectural barriers that I’ve built
Apologies if someone has already mentioned this
Now that the beta is over, you should go back to zoo tycoon and see if you can add more exhibits and animals or improve on previous exhibits in your zoo
ОтветитьWow, Jonti! You play this game a lot! I know the days and years go by fast in this game, but year 72?! Geez man! Keep up the great work!
ОтветитьLove this series, it would be nice if in the main series you showed the final enclosure in a bit more detail at the end of the video
ОтветитьI have the same issue with guests running away in my zoo. But I've noticed it happened after a Sable Antelope escaped. I got it boxed and back into the habitat, but people seem to still be reacting as if it was on the loose. I'm on my third generation of Sable Antelopes and people are still running lol. Could be because the Mandrill escaped to the roof.
ОтветитьThis area really reminds me of the inner primate area at the Oregon Zoo, which is currently going under renovation, but the older mandrill exhibit had a bit indoor area like this, with concrete everywhere, with a small bridge to an outer area. I'm not sure what they're changing it to, I've not seen the current plans, but I volunteered with the primate keepers back in 05. Fun fact, the female mandrills were super friendly, but our big male had no desire to be near us unless we had food, lol.
ОтветитьFor the water, it seems like the water has to be a certain depth to count as water area for animals. I tried making this marsh like island filled area for my gharials and the water would take away from the navigable land area but added nothing to the water area until I started making it deeper and then only the deep parts counted.
ОтветитьKeep it up! Love the videos!
ОтветитьAmazing how clean you have made the exhibit - well done
ОтветитьYour King Kong replica isn't very...convincing there. :P
ОтветитьI had problems with my mandrills too. I had no path crossing over their exhibit, but at times I got a massage they had escaped. They hadn't. They where all in their enclosure. But one of them where boxed up on their climbing equitment every singel time.
ОтветитьWhen saving a exhibit blueprint are you able to have a barrier inside a barrier, like have a null barrier surrounding the exhibit/building and have another/multiple barrier(s) inside
ОтветитьYou have to change the quality of the food... Heh, I guess you have a point lol
ОтветитьDepending on how far you want to go with realism, there are things to consider when it comes to placement of foliage. I believe mandrills in real life would probably pull up and destroy most of the plants in that enclosure. Beside from grass, larger trees and bushes you typically won't see a lot foliage inside an enclosure for larger monkeys or apes. From a gaming point of view, I totally understand why this might be a bit too realistic to consider.
ОтветитьI don't eat humans... not anymore lool
Ответитьyou should name him vision
Ответитьgod i love these videos the game tells Geekism the animal doesnt need water and he ignores that like he knows better!!
ОтветитьI like how you challenged yourself to make an animal exhibit with the idea it has to be realistic and easy to maintain. Not gonna lie I did like the other enclosures better because they were very imaginative. Not saying you didn't do a good job at this. I ended up loving it.
ОтветитьHave you considered that it may have counted the roof as the extra climbable space? xD
ОтветитьI had a path going over my zebra enclosure and the guests would run away where the path got a little too close to the ground, even though the animal was nowhere near them and definitely couldn't get up.
ОтветитьI believe the humans were acting afraid and running because you put glass pieces instead of a barrier around the viewing area.
ОтветитьJust fyi, this one isn't on your playlist of the PZ Beta!
ОтветитьProbably a bit late, but I believe the issue is the glass structures, they are for what ever reason not counted as a barrier piece like rocks or walls or almost everything else, the glass pieces specifically, I had made a fully glass house for my lemurs with 2 stone walls, and all my lemurs could just walk through the glass to escape, although i believe the painted glass is counted as barriers though, but not the regular non painted type glass.... :l probably a beta bug.
ОтветитьThis video isnt in the beta playlist just so you know 😉
But great stuff
I have the same issue in regards to guessed running away. I dug out some earth in an enclosure to make a "cave" like shelter for some bears and when they go into the "cave", the game thinks the bears have escaped and everyone runs away and panics but the bears are fully enclosed in their enclosure :/
ОтветитьIs it me or can I HEAR this enclosure? Like when you walk in you hear the echos you hear in the zoos buildings and such?
Ответить
