I dont think they will make another sig weapon like stringmaster again to avoid people only needing 1 off those weapons

I've been thoroughly enjoying Yinlin. Will definitely get this for her on the next run.

That off-field on encore doesn't work. She is on field during her swap skills. That extra off field buff only works on yinlin.

I didn’t get Stringmaster the first time around, and yes, I regret it. But it won’t escape me the next time around. Definitely getting a copy or two during rerun.

so if it was between this or jinhsi's signature, better to get this right? i dont roll weapons but might get this on the rerun. comparing these two because jinhsi was the character i was most excited to get.

the way i got stringmaster, yinlin, jiyan, verdant summit in 1.1 for a total of 40 wishes is still insane to me

And yes, I have both Zhezhe's weapon and Stringmaster. Its simply for ease of use. I can now not care about changing the weapons and I can also.... have both in the same team

without realizing the point of this video, I pulled 2 copies of this weapon to give encore and yinlin each of their own

Well i had no luck as pure free to play on zhezhis weapon, so i just lend her yinyin one XD
4 star damage weapons only are just not worth lvling. (only support ones)

All I need now is an op 5 star limited sword and gun and I can stop pulling for weapons

thankfully i didnt get yinlin to get her weapon for encore, changli(with her weapon) and encore dominating the middle tower for me, f2p btw can 30 star now because i completed 3 teams (rover danjin verina, jiyan mortefi verina, changli encore baizhi)

i specifically skipped yinlin for her weapon when the banner was running for this exact reason!! the community speculated that the weapon would be a great investment in the long run & i'm soooo happy i got it when i did🤩 it's also the best looking 5star weapon as of now imo!

Next re run my yinlin would have over 100% crit (currently using standard 5 banner rectifier) and my crit is at 75% already

How much is it worth to pull Stringmaster for weapon ranks?

For dps of field dps and even for support dps its so insane. Next best weapon will be shorekeepers cause of the buffs

Do other rectifier users besides Yinlin really benefit all that much from crit rate? Maybe the nerdy ice waifu (don’t know. Don’t have her), but Verina and Baizou really DGAF about CR.

Edit: totally forgot about Encore. Don’t have her either. Didn’t realize there were other rectifier users who weren’t strictly support.

Whether a weapon has crit rate or crit damage only determines which main stat 4 cost you will use, you still need the right substats across all echoes for a balanced build. Having 100% crit rate doesnt do much if you dont have the crit damage to back it up, you just end up with a higher floor but a much lower ceiling. The comparison between Yinlin's and Zhezhi's weapons is a little unfair when you consider they have effects specifically tailored to them, and there is only 1 other character, Encore, that would really want to use either. Not to mention that prydwyn didnt even bother to update Yinlin or Encore to include how well Zhezhi's weapon works on them. As for Encore, having 12% elemental damage and 24% attack seems pretty comparable to 12% attack and 36% basic attack damage. Either one is extremely tight for Encore to maintain uptime, during her liberation she has a 4 second cd on skill and the buffs only have a 5 and 6 second duration, meaning even a single dodge or repositioning will let the buffs fall off.

The biggest problem is not i don't have it... The problem is my echo set already has enough crit rate (70%)

Tho i do think stringmaster is great, the weapon is only as good as its users. Now dont get me wrong, the current rectifier dps (yinlin, zhezhi and encore) are rlly great and there is definitely a chance that future rectifier dps come out that can use stringmaster. From a stats standpoint, yes, the weapon is nuts which is why i got it + cool design.

However, think its still too early for there to be a “definitive” best weapon in value. Jinhsi, xiangli yao and changli are arguably the three best dps in the game currently and none of them are rectifiers. Why is stringmaster the best weapon if none of its users are top three? I’d probably say that it is amongst the best weapon choices but the standard sword, jinhsi and xiangli’s weapon (for their respective characters) are all on par with stringmaster because they provide similar if not more value for the characters that can use them.

I pulled it mainly because I wanted a powerful 5star Rectifier and the Standard one was not good enough for me. It has to be the most overall powerful weapon in the game at the moment. It showed off more value with time, both because there's not been any better ones yet, and because 4 star weapons are kinda mid. In truth, the Standard 5 stars are kinda mid too. Save for maybe the sword, and that's only because of it's high Attack and having a Crit Rate main stat, and a pretty good unique effect. It will definitely be left in the dust by limited swords though. Especially if they have Crit Rate main stat.

I have yinlin, but I pull this weapon for encore 😂 the same as i pull xy’s weapon for my future lingyang (I dont have him yet) 😂

The Devs listened and made Zhezhi almost never deal skill dmg so its not as good on her.
Literally the only reason why all of her dmg is considered basic atk dmg, so she doesn't synergize with Stringmaster

istg the 6.3 roll is unfairly biased against, how the fuck isit like 60% 6.3, 20% 6.9, 20% everything else

My biggest regret is not pulling this weapon

Your video is the only reason why shorekeeper weapon is not universal. It could have been a broken sub dps and support must have weapon on every team.

I have 5 5 star weapons in WuWa, the whole 100% guaranteed system they have made me pull for weapons way more than I would normally do in gacha games. I have the Stringmaster, Xiangli Lio's gauntlets, the Emerald of Genesis, and Jiyan's greatsword and Static Mist, the last ones were a bit of a meme, I did a 10 pull just for funsies and got 2 copies of Jiyan's weapon LMAO; also I wanted to select the Emerald of Genesis in the free box, but I looked at the other weapons first, decided that yes the sword was the one I wanted, I proceeded to switch by miss-clicking somehow to Static Mist and then click OK, got the pistols and was very confused... then it took me 60 pulls to get the sword LMAO!

I pulled this weapon in 1.0 thinking it was going to be a great investment for the long run.

It was. Stringmaster is busted.
