Foto's bevrijding Bolsward 16-04-1945

One of the gentlemen of the 8th Infantry Brigade gave a 10 month young toddler a piece of Roast Beef that was my brother. I am always curious what has become of that soldier. My mom and dad were in the house of my uncle very close to the bridge which was blown up, my dad was thrown from the ceiling to the floor below with the words: "She goes up any minu...." ;)
