My favorite Spidey suit ever and my favorite style of this suit! I was SO EXCITED when I saw they were making this figure and just received it in the mail this morning so it's perfect now seeing this in my subscription feed

I wasn't able to get the red & blue suit during the initial release and had to pay a fortune and a half to get it on eBay but I managed to snag this figure for a more reasonable price and can't wait to have both on display

This version is actualy missing the Spider-Drone from the first release

Hi Justin. On the turntable, the head looks more like a helmet - the seam at the bottom is huge and does not blend at all... also, as you mentioned, the dullness of the head makes the colour look much darker than the body. From the neck down the figure is fab. Top review.

Beautiful figure.

The reason why the red is a different shade is because its a different shade in the game as well. This figure was a complete snooze for me. Let me rephrase, the color scheme is because it's insomniac's fault. Not hot toys fault

for what it’s worth, that shade of red is accurate to the game. if you swap between styles, the red&black is slightly more pinkish compared to the default

I got the Red/Blue in my collection and my little brother has the red/black. I was tempted to get this new one but superior spiderman will do the job just as good! We got a lot of red/black spiderman options now. Good vid

The reason this suit looks better than the default color scheme imo, is the black makes the lack of boots a lot better. Spidey doesn't look like he's bottomless when his lower half is mostly a really dark color/black. Same reason why Miles looks good despite not having boots. Also the scarlet/pinkish red is such a nice shade, I think it adds a little more pazazz that wouldn't be there if it was a normal shade of red.

Bit of a strange colour choice for Spooderman. Like they turned the saturation the wrong way on Photoshop

When they announced this version of Spidey, definitely it was a pass for me, I just thought this is just a repaint of the advanced suit 2.0, luckily I was able to get the normal advanced suit 2.0 because he was limited, now that I see more of this version I think he looks incredible, maybe in the future I will get him, for now I am very happy with my normal advanced suit 2.0

i mained this suit in the game because i think the black helps accentuate the white spider a bit more and make the suit really pop, and i think its safe to say my purchase of this will do more for me than most other spidey figures hot toys makes. its just absolutely stunning and gorgeous. cannot wait for this thing to arrive

This is the suit I used while playing through Spider-Man 2! Very happy that Hot Toys made this and even happier I managed to get one for myself!

Hot Toys being VERY greedy with their figures, bruh I cant even buy the standard figures as is!

They use that shade of red to be accurate to the game because this is based on a suit style for the advanced suit. I also think it would’ve looked better with the bright red

PSA Hey ladies and gents, apologies if I gave anyone the impression I thought this colour scheme was not accurate to the game. I know it is. 

You can mix up the colour palettes of each suit in game and this happens to be one of the choices for Advanced Suit 2.0. Just not one I ended up going with, hence my preference for the normal colours.
