Why is this Ryaisah khan- Pritam Singh (integrity case)case was grilled with such a detail and length of trails... But in contrast the Iswaran case(corruption) was dealt with in a much much milder extend and the case close very quickily with reduced penalty? Is it becos it was opposition vs ruling party(shouldn't our law be impartial) ? Is it becos the faster closing case which seems more severe has something to cover up? Is it becos of dragging the opp case so as to smear(de campaign propagenda) WP near election?

I’m a supporter of PM Lee. But I just want to ask PAP one question . When PM Lee first revealed in parliament that he knew about Tan Chuan Jin affair in Nov 2020, PAP is able to counselled both to stop the affair. Then in Nov 2023 , PM Lee learned the affair didn’t stop and talk to Tan Chuan Jin again where he offered to resigned. PM Lee was asked why had he taken two years to act and he admitted and agree that he should have “forced the issue earlier”. PM Lee explanation is that he had to consider the impact on the innocent parties/families. Why wasn’t there an inquiry on this, questioning the PM’s integrity or if there’s any attempts to hide the affair so as to protect the reputation of PAP? Whereas Pritam did similar things , by talking to RK about it and ended up telling her , at some stage she need to tell the truth. When neutrals compared these 2 scenarios and see the amount of taxpayers spent on querying Pritam integrity , it really looks a form of witch hunting . Why is PAP allow to decide on their own disciplinary action that “counselling” Is sufficient whereas WP doing the same thing by talking to RK is not . The WP leader is held to a higher moral standard that he should “reveal” to the parliament IMMEDIATELY, and if not his integrity is an issue and deemed to be “hiding” the lie. Don’t get me wrong ,PAP had done well In governing the country , but please don’t do such things that affects our reputation as a democratic country like attempting to eliminate opposition parties , similar to Hk or CCP or Russia

Aside from princess Khan's claims, what evidence is there that shows Pritam Singh asked for the lie to be maintained?

Defender lawyer: I ask for 1 day jail
Prosecutor lawyer: I ask for 12 months jail.
Judge: $5,000 is enough to disqualify him standing for election.

Such a move will only backfire and reduce moral standing for the gov. I think Singaporeans are educated and intuitive enough to see how unnecessary this pursuit is. A waste of taxpayers money and resources. How about focusing on inflation, transportation, health care, employment and wealthy money laundering living in Spore...
