2008 joined, just don't have the money to get em flying. Love watching them, try maken them like u did with kieth.
ОтветитьI received one of the last (or the last) F-117 kits and I had a real blast with it. It was my second R/C plane and a great one for the job. Not too fast, flies well but will do cool stuff like the spin to touchdown, touch and goes (yes, did lots of those), and really cool high alpha. Great plane, team R/C Powers!
ОтветитьLove the F-117, been wit you for years bud, I got and still have 3 sizes. Small, medium and large!
ОтветитьRussian engineers are one of the best only behind Californian engineers
ОтветитьHere's an idea we are working on, bomb drop full of the snaps from the dollar store. drop those pups over a parking lot and get some oos and aahs! Built this plane twice as a version 1, version 2 on the build list.
ОтветитьAll f 117s are very squirrly on the roll.. The trick is to widen the ws so it's more flyable. Another problem is that ALL the weight is on top so it has a tendency to flip over. Idk how rcp did it, but I know it took some brains
Ответить@orandaboy Then we get less harassment.
Ответить@youronlycow Dude, we ran out of show ideas years ago!
Ответить@Powertampa "Perfection is when there is nothing left to take away" something like that?
ОтветитьMade the F117 from foam fighters, very very similar to your version!!!!! Its a very stable aircraft and one of the easiest to build and fly! Well done Dave for sticking with it and making it a great aircraft to fly and you know its good when other people copy it and make it there own!!! lol ;-]
ОтветитьLove this HISTORY! Way better than George Warshington.
Ответитьall the home boys! lol
Ответить@DaveSuperPowers hehe well I'm sure many viewers gave suggestions.. Maybe you could look at some of them :D
Ответитьwhere is keith, tell now
Ответить@RCSuperPowers G'day... Well, I took to studying the F-117 when the sit-in versions became public knowledge. So, when I took to streamlining Solar Panels for Highway-Speeds the Faceted-Aerofoil was the OBVIOUS way to go. All that flat glass. Even So, I had to use Ramscoop-Driven Boundary Layer Control Vents to unstall the Trailing- Facet...! Search 'SunFoil Mk3 Construction', to see details ; also the "Turbulator Rope" test that proved ALL the CUTE Aerodynamics !
Ответить@daz28pike the only difference is that the rcfoamfighters is more of vertical stablizers than v tails like the rcpowers one
ОтветитьThe smaller F117 was my first scratchbuild nearly 3 years ago. It is still one my "go to" planes that I fly on a regular basis.
ОтветитьYeah, that's it! I wasn't interested in the F-117 until I watched this video. Now I want to build one! Telling the story behind the designs is a great idea!
Ответитьlol russian accent
ОтветитьI tried making my own version of this plane. Didn't fly very far.
Ответитьthumbs up for cold war Russian awesome impression you should give that guy freee plans for life along with the other who helped you
ОтветитьI like the insider info, all this time I thought you were a genius.....
ОтветитьI have the F117 with the side scoops and bomb drop. I liked it so much I made a 160% size with a .32 glow engine on it. It flew great also.
Ответить@tim78704 Hahaha! Ah, thats pretty good...
Ответить@tim78704 Ok, I laughed at that like 30 seconds too long. Good one dude.
Ответить@maxjosephwheeler Ha! I'm smart enough to steal everyone else's good ideas!
Ответить@ssur44 I remember that. Anything you can do, Russ can do 160% and gas.
ОтветитьThis plane got reviewed in the UK for RCM&E Magazine (May 2009 I think)
Ответитьhave you totally dumped the vtol idea Dave? cant seen to find any info on updates to the 4yr project?
Ответитьrespect for RCSuperPowers... you're a God in RC...
ОтветитьI flown the v1 alsome plane
ОтветитьLook at this German F-117:
Ответитьcan the F-117 fly with ductedfans??...
ОтветитьSure, the rusian guy and others taught you and now you ask us money for the plans.................
Ответитьit was worth my money for the pdf. this plane is way more fun to fly per dollar than most of the $150+ so called beginner planes. i have been flying the version 2 for about a year and been part of the group for about 2. every time im flying in the park, there is always a group of people stopping everything to watch for half an hour. it mesmerizes then or something. now i can tell them a Russian engineer had a part in it.:)
Ответитьim not hateing but i dont relly like the f117 now i dont want people telling me what to do but i do like the look of the plane.
Ответить@AnCheeseEagle haha
Ответитьcan you make a b2 bomber
Ответить@tim78704 Epic LOL
Ответить@737Pilot122 I think Scott did something like that. He combined elevators, ailerons, and rudder into ONE control group. Looked pretty cool and Was pretty stable with gyros.
ОтветитьDave, are you going to continue the VTOL idea, or is a backseat project or gone?
Ответитьmy name tells ewrything :D
ОтветитьOK got the F-117 plans - both of them - cut teeth on X35 - broken, Mig-29 broke the second one - first still flying, F-15 - beautiful - I save this one for impressing my friends on a quiet evening. F-22Mk2 next up - maiden next week. The F-117 will blow their minds - back soon.
Ответить@tim78704 Funniest thing I have heard all day!
Ответить"divine approval" lolol
ОтветитьWhere can i buy good rc planes?
ОтветитьI've made the f22 v2 and like it alot, Is the f117 worth the build?
Ответитьlike the russian accent
Ответитьsir can you give me a free f-117v2 because i really like your version and it is better than rcfoamfighters.
Ответитьmiss you Dave
