Gr.3-6 French for Beginners

This course is for students in Grades 3 to 6 who have no previous experience learning French. This course will cover the basics of the French language, including commonly-used, functional vocabulary on a variety of themes, including weather, food, and clothing.

Students will have the opportunity to listen, read and respond to French narrative stories, and to practice writing French words and simple sentences. Students will also frequently engage in conversation and discussion in French, to increase their facility with the language.
