I want to thank those military men and women who made it possible for me to serve. I want to thank those currently serving our great nation and keeping us safe. Next, I want to thank those who will serve in the future and keep us safe. But this video didn't touch on the sacrifices of those who have, are, and will bear in the future. It is hard to be deployed and be away from your loved ones. When I got deployed, my wife [now divorced] had to take up everything, being both mother and father [if that makes sense]. She had to take care of the children, do the shopping, nurse them when they were sick, and the list is endless.
This video touched briefly on one issue that nobody wants to face: when your loved one doesn't come home, at least not in the way you would like. I am referring to the fact that they made the ultimate sacrifice for their country. I lost many good friends in my career, and I could never imagine the sadness and heartache that his/her family and loved ones experienced. I know how I felt; I am sure that was only a tenth of what they felt. My best friend died in my arms; every day, I wake up and think of him 30+ years later. The pain doesn't stop. Those who read this know I can feel some of your loss. God Bless our men and women serving our country, and God Bless you all!
stop now all the wars around the world !

Ответитьwow amazing surprise
ОтветитьNot every soldier who returns is a man, but videos like these do show how valuable a father is to kids. God bless them all. And from one Veteran to you all...Thank you for serving!
Ответить🎉I never stop crying watching all these amazing soldiers coming home to there family's, thank you so much for all yours do ,God Bless you always and keep you all safe ❤❤❤
ОтветитьWhen I see this I believe it will be just like this when we die and go to heaven. Amen Thanks again to all my friends and family who have served or are serving now. God be with you all.
ОтветитьIt's deeply moving to watch these videos - the emotions they evoke go far beyond sadness and make us feel like situations like this would never have to arise in an ideal world. We ask ourselves why conflicts and losses keep occurring that force parents to say goodbye to their children. Why are religious beliefs sometimes placed above what is unifying and human and lived so intensely and radically that they separate people from one another?
It is important to reflect on these questions and find ways in which faith and humanity can be in harmony. If we remember to focus on the value of humanity and see differences in faith as enriching, we can have hope for a future in which such tragedies become less common. Every step towards mutual understanding and peaceful coexistence - without losing our convictions - brings us closer to this vision.
