Nice idea. You can also cut the rolls to different lengths and just glue any nice paper on with regular glue if you don't have such a gun. Also you can make an Advent calendar out of the rolls. Just make top and bottom for each roll. Just be creative, it is fun. Thanks for sharing your ideas❤
