Watch Ameca the humanoid robot in its FIRST public demo

I've seen a lot of robots in my time, but seeing Ameca react in real time throughout our interview kind of blew my mind! What's your vote, cool or creepy?

Another example, when we were introduced to the phone.. it was a new invention and we now find it super helpful, that is the way inventions are, they capture our attention, a spice of life . So, respect in life is essential to society and we all must abide by this rule . Machinery is no different, all machines must have a measure of safety designed into the system . I think robots are a super invention, we appreciate our vehicles and likewise we should also show a measure of appreciation and consideration for these highly advanced robots, this is simply practicing intelligent conduct . I'd be more worried about a mark we are going to be required to have in our hands or head in order to buy or trade, than I am about a robot take over.
People might not want to believe the Bible, but one of these two scenarios is much closer to being realized than the other, and it's not a robot take over.

I think making Ameca humanoid but not creepy by steering away from too-close imitation was a very wise decision. A robot that looks like a robot is strangely more relatable and less threatening.

Its great that AI exists..when talking to a robot you dont get an additude back than talking to a humans...i find that humans always give additude when talking to them..but i noticed how happy people get after talking to a robot ..i beleave it wil helpl change people additude to one another

If they keep egging it on, As well as continued to talk about it.... Asking questions like how they would take over the world... Or anything Of that nature.... It's game over when they say yes.... Even though this is respectively new this can turn out to be dangerous..... I think people need to keep their mouth shut and encourage as much good And positivity As much as possible.... Robots with human faces will always look creepy.

Over exaggerated emotions are also annoying. Robots that are overly happy for example.

I think Amazon Alexa is a perfect example of emotion done well. Her voice is neutral, but has an emotional quality to it.

There is such bright future for humanoid robots in society. I just worry about cost, these things will be insanely expensive for many years to come.
