Сергей, lol this video the intro editing братан, after the intro you're so serious!! #;-) I was smiling too, С-П топ!!! ))) Я тоже appreciate Russian arts it is a way to understand when there is language difference, this channel is awesome не файк не булшйт
ОтветитьLove the propaganda from a failed State! We should get the Smithsonian to rent these works for a "comparative" art showing, comparing artists from the USA painting on US themes and have it next to these paintings. I bet it would create quite the stir!
ОтветитьExceptional exhibit. Would love to have attended. A lot of the work I recognized from my youth as being in the Russian style. Russia excels in architecture, art of all styles, and some of the worlds finest writers. Enjoyed the tour
ОтветитьGreat paintings. Loved them.
Ответитьexcellent content
ОтветитьMaybe Art and Music can bring our countries together....enjoyed the museum
ОтветитьAnother outstanding video. Thanks you for this upload.
ОтветитьThen everything goes back to horrible when you turn the camera away from the paintings. The cafeteria and dark grungy gallery rooms. Nothing inspired. You need to keep going back out to that new suburb development you hate, in the spring and summer, and fully investigate. I thought it looked beautiful and magnificent and I wish we had such developments here in America. The stuff you liked in down town I didn't like. Catherine the Great needed a boyfriend who was a railroad and steel engineer and maybe everything could have been different. Everything looks like some American dream of Kansas in those paintings and full of sunshine. The Russian farmland was 1/3 the quality of America (forcing more labor intensity) and Russia had 1/3 as much of it, (correct?) but I think that is not the cause of the farm problem. You should film those crows or ravens that can walk sideways.
ОтветитьI truly hope that your government recognizes your effort to bring understanding of your art and history as well the scenery. Thank you my friend. )))
ОтветитьI know most of the paintings in this video. I love soviet art an I have a collection of about 25000 soviet pictures. Thanks for info. I will go to this exibition for sure.
ОтветитьI quite liked this episode Sergey! Very enlightening.
ОтветитьAmazing works of art. I can't believe this is the first time I'm seeing some of these artists' paintings.
Ответитьthanks for a fantastic glimpse of this priceless exhibition
Ответитьsoviet nostalgia. the soviet people tried something new, and not everything was bad. feeling the spirit of this art, satisfies my soul.
ОтветитьWow !! What an amazing exhibition... Thanks Sergey for the introduction to Russian art... I'm going to research some of those artists , and try to obtain some retail available fine art prints... Naturally, this gets a thumbs up from me..
Ответитьsalute to hands of make this building. great historical place and architecture. Weldon for our historical videos.
Ответить🇿🇦♥️♥️
ОтветитьVery interesting, I see , in many of these , the eye of artists yearning for more freedom of expression , these were smart guys , an undercurrent of interest in what was going on in art , in the West, in the 1930s..... there is an air of restraint of artistic longing in these works.
ОтветитьThis is one of my favorite videos that you have done! I would love to visit this exhibition.
Ответитьlove your channel! great job👍
ОтветитьAwesome art! Love his realistic style.
Ответитьold fan here. keep going bro love from Mongolia
ОтветитьIt can be interesting seeing common people in everyday situations. It really does define the period in which they lived. We (USA) also had an artist famous for illustrating and painting that topic, Check out the work of Norman Rockwell when you have time.
ОтветитьI love your "art" videos..museums and etc..are my favorites..shows what talented people exist in our countries...these videos always move my heart...as does your beautiful smile !!
Ответитьgreat realistic artwork, you can see influences of the great masters in many of these paintings.
ОтветитьSergey, very cool! Really enjoyed seeing this. Thanks.
ОтветитьI could have stayed in that video all day! Thanks for taking us to the Deyneka and Samokhvalov exhibit at the Manege! I know I won't make it before the exhibit ends in January. I hope to see some of their works next year!
ОтветитьI love USSR and Russia.
ОтветитьThanks!!!!!! You did a good job of giving us the flavour of Russian Realism. Weird how there are no naked men...I always thought this period in Russian realism was celebrating the Fitness oriented, wholesome and strong people made by the political changes
ОтветитьWhat optimism there is in these paintings!
ОтветитьThank you Sergey, for introducing me to these amazing artists.
ОтветитьBeautiful...
ОтветитьExcellent tour thanks!
ОтветитьI continue to be Amazed and Deepened by the Depth of Russian art & culture
ОтветитьGreetings Sergey, I've followed you since 2012 brother. Your early days. Hope you are doing very well. God bless you and your family brother. Cheers
ОтветитьThis is Amazing, thank you for sharing.
ОтветитьAlways liked the socialist realism style. Have about 40 old Soviet posters, a space race cigarette box and a small red banner from the Ukrainian ssr dosaaf.
ОтветитьThanks, Sergey. What a coincidence. I saw Deyneka murals in the Mayakovskaya metro station in Moscow last month. I also had great Puffs at the shop in St. Petersburg you recommended.
ОтветитьThat is another spectacular structure. And both of the artists present athletic, healthy and beautiful people. Thank you Sergey, very well done.
ОтветитьFascinating. Thank you! But where one commenter saw optimism, I saw bleakness. Maybe because much of the art is gray, white, black with few other colors. I saw the inevitability of work. Just hard work with mere existence as a reward.
ОтветитьWhat an awesome collection. I love this style of painting. My Russian visa expired last month. Now I wish I had renewed it. I would fly to SPB just to see this collection. Sergey, do you know if there is a book made of the collection? Many times museums will sell a book form of an art exhibition they have put together. I would be very interested in buying such a book. Either way, thank you for the video. I really enjoyed it. I even watched it twice !
Ответитьmagnifique reportage 👍
ОтветитьNice architecture/paintings . A must visit .
ОтветитьЧестно ,я не говорю и очень плохо понимаю английский язык ,но было очень интересно, спасибо ))) лаечка)))
ОтветитьThis video shows amazing Soviet realism not familiar to western culture so it's such valuable thing
Ответитьone correction Sergey- social realism was about idealized soviet life, not a real one
ОтветитьХороший репортаж, Сергей ! У Вас получается!
С Новым годом!
Not sure how I missed this one, awesome video.
