I so needed this video! Thanks! ❤❤❤
ОтветитьThanks for the video. I also want to get some of the music ideas out of my head but my space is only enough for a 25 key MIDI. Would that be enough? Can I just make some beat then pause, move the octave and combine them later in the DAW or do I need to get at least 49 keys ones to make music?😢
ОтветитьLol, what scale is on the 6th degree of the scale
ОтветитьI am going through this dilemma. One of the best vids ever posted. Learning piano and my teacher is directing me to play sheet music whereas I need to express my own music
ОтветитьThis but with guitar! 😭😭😭
Ответитьty dude
Ответитьit's me fr!
ОтветитьThank you man.
ОтветитьThis is really the exact type of actionable video that I wish people made for beginner musicians more often
Ответитьtranscription and improv really helps you develop your musical ear more as well, and the satisfaction that comes out of being resourceful with the basics even if ur no instrumental whiz really motivates you from time to time to just keep on practicing.
love this vid a lot too thank u camus!!
It’s funny as a producer that samples and plays it’s all relative. Music Theory is something that’s needed to tap into the human psyche. Once I practiced keys it made my music ten times better. Mind u I still sample just not as much. Knowledge mixed with experimentation is what makes hits. Not a formula. It’s all feeling.
ОтветитьThis is sooo valuable. Thx for sharing.
Ответитьmannn this was insanely helpful in regaining hope from so many nights of frustration in music production. appreciate the guidance and insight brother
ОтветитьF*ck these video’s who talk shit in the first part. Man is even throwing words at you. We don’t need your downplay. People will watch if the video is good enough
Ответитьwhat are some basic beginner songs that i can start with? (step 1)
ОтветитьYou exceeded my expectations.. thank you!
ОтветитьAs someone who is classically trained in flute but has next to no piano experience and is looking to learn it for music production, this makes so much more sense than what I've been trying which was basically just grinding to the point of tedium
ОтветитьSuch a fantastic insight my friend ! Really needed this clarity...Thank you :)
ОтветитьYa bro I don’t really give a shit to comment but that tutorial you used made me light tf up. I know chords and what not but the drills and different pillars lit off a spark and i literally play better after like a day. Really needed that
Ответитьgreat video!!
Ответитьbrilliant vid. New to composing my own sounds and I really needed to hear this. Went through that EXACT same loop of starting then giving up
ОтветитьThis video got me back into making music. Thank you so much.
Ответитьgame changing <3
Ответитьthank you so much for this video
ОтветитьGreat said, man! I also figured that I don’t want to be a great player, but I want to be a producer. I can find someone else who can play great songs I want to create ;) These are truly 2 different skills to practice 👍
ОтветитьPlease never delete this video !
Ответитьim the person that needed this
ОтветитьInsane video !!!!!
ОтветитьHella underrated channel, fire bro, keep it up❤🔥
ОтветитьGenuinely life changing video
ОтветитьThis was insanely helpful, all yt turorials should be like this one. Thanks for sharing information
ОтветитьGood video. This is very useful for people that want to play keys, but don’t want to learn through traditional methods.
Ответитьwe love niche videos!
thank you.
This is exactly what I was looking for. Thank you so much good sir
ОтветитьThis is EXACTLY how I taught myself piano and it has helped me the most to create my own music.
ОтветитьWeird thing is I basically used this methodology for learning guitar (18 years in the making) but just couldn't think that way when I sat down on a piano and I now realize why learning piano has been such a frustrating experience.
I can literally get a good idea for a song in 15sec when I'm on my guitar but I jump on the piano and I'm like "What is chord?"
This is mad valuable!
ОтветитьLmaooo the classic NCS music
ОтветитьGreat video! Seeing L Dre's video inspired me as well but this one really helped me understand why the traditional piano lesson approach didn't stick lol. I'm using this as my start to really learn piano to produce my music better! Thank you!
ОтветитьCan you PLEASE help me decide whether to invest in a piano keyboard or a midi, or a 2 in 1, or just a REALLY good midi - especially if you want to make music but also don’t know how to play the piano - ✨thanks✨
ОтветитьI needed this video!!
ОтветитьBro the background track is sick and went great with the whole video. Nice work.
ОтветитьHoly fuck my prayers have been answered
ОтветитьHey, i just started learning music theory but i dont have enough money to buy a keyboard/piano but I'm learning with my FL studio's piano roll
ОтветитьHow did you learn the listening skill? Do you by any chance know any good resources?
Ответитьthank you so much for this video !!
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьYour improvisation sounds advance to someone like me who draws in the pattern on piano roll 😂. This is probably one of the most thoroughly explained vids on learning piano. Thank you for clarifying the approach so i can start learning piano and create my own music.🙏
