So, I have the phone now, and here is my review: Holding the power button doesn't do anything. You cannot double tap the power button to open the camera. You cannot change the functionality of the power button. When you swipe left on the home screen, you are stuck with google discover - you cannot remove this.

All in all, a terrible software experience and I am absolutely shocked that not a single reviewer has mentioned these things.

It doesn't have hdmi thru usb c right? It's just usb c 2

I know that you have complained about the audio bit rate in several videos, but the bit rate of 96kbps is more than enough for voice. Even 64kbps is sufficient irrespective whether the codec is AAC or Opus. The real issue might be that the mic are not calibrated properly. You can know the answer by recording your voice on the phone & your studio mic and then load both the audio files in Audacity and compare the frequency response.

I have the old X50 pro which I thought was such an underrated phone. It was one of Realme's first attempt at a flagship and it's been serving me very well as my work phone as it is very stable, even compared to my OnePlus 8 pro which I use as my personal phone and the battery life is pretty good too. I'm seriously thinking of upgrading to this one to replace my old Realme.

Hi thanks for the video. That looks fancy. But I was just wondering how is update situation going to be ? There many phone in market but most of them does not give enough android update. Because of that samsung and xiaomi looks best option to me.

After 12 years of using only Samsung flagship phones, i bought this Realme. Never thought it would be this great. Realme UI is clean, beautiful responsiveness. 750€ in Romania including a Realme Pad in pre sale!!

What app do you use for the battery health? It seems like every one of these new phones advertises 5KmAh but actually hold 10% less

Just bought Realme gt2 pro! Great phone! Getting that old oneplus's feeling - when the phone is really fast without minor lags!!! Great screen, best side bezels, flat one!!! Only minor drawbacks - no zoom camera (trying to be ok with that, wasn't using it much in previous phones) and audio quality in camera on lower level, it's ok, but not the best... But the speed and the screen and battery is just 😍😍😍

Would you purchase the GT2 Pro or the Oppo X5 Pro? Taking into account battery, call quality and picture quality. i Have the X5 Pro at the moment but the CN version really limits some of the sw capabilities. Thank you

Poco F3 user here. The Realme GT2 Pro will be a nice upgrade to my already good Poco F3. It would be nice to have a Snapdragon 8 gen 1 with Adreno 730 gpu.

Tbh, my Poco F3 does the job. I can emulate all gaming consoles, even the switch(!) on the Poco F3. But I want the latest SoC because it will be more efficient. Also the charging is a bit faster on the Realme GT2 Pro.

Not sure if Realme had fixed the camera audio quality or not. Do you have any information on this?

Now this one avilable on Aliexpress for 370$ + coupon + cashback. So can be 340$ or maybe even 330$, for this price it's just best-buy I think! I mean, Redmi Note 12 5G PRO looks bad for same price! But Realme just released it 1 year ago, when Redmi Note 12 series available on global market only now! Looks like Xiaomi slowly losing to opponents like Realme. What do you think man? Is it possible that my redmi note 10 pro has better pictures compared to this phone? Im really interested in buying realme gt 2 pro, but i checked a camera comparison samples on GSM arena between these phones, and pics from redmi look better. I'm confused now

The Realme GT2 PRO is by far the favorite phone in the house as it disappears frequently. Can't keep up with my Pixel 7 in terms of shutter speed and post processing zoom but it does take really good shots particularly in low light. The selfies on the Realme are superior to the pixels in every way and for restaurants i actually prefer the Realme with its 150 degree ultra wide which gets everyone and everything in the shot and looks great. This was an underrated device and how they got such fast charging speeds with the 65 watt dart is beyond me. It has counrless hours of genshin on it and it doesnt get offensively warm at all. For some reason the volume on speaker phone calls is not very loud when turned all the way up which has been an issue at work. Love it and your review sold me. Thanks!

Sorry for the late comment. Exellent review as always sir. Im glad to inform you that now the audio bittrate in videos is 256kb/s. After the updates the phone is a beast.
