Magical Quest starring Mickey Mouse Full Playthrough (SNES) | Let's Play #234

I remember this game… I never was able to beat it, I forget why… but I’m glad I can go back and see the end to this game lol

This was one of the games my cousins had on their SNES. The thing I remember the most about this game are the sound effects and the music; very memorable, especially the theme you get after defeating a boss.

Fun fact : in the Italian version the "P" for "Pete" is morphed in a "G" from Pete's name translation "Gambadilegno" which means "wooden leg". I think the full italian name is "Pietro Gambadilegno" Peter or Pete... neat! Thx for the playthrough... I was actually hoping you take the right door but you did exactly as I did... bummer ; )

Even though as a kid I used to go through all the game in one day, I remember it to be much longer! I'm surprised my memory magnified it. It was nice to watch you play, thank you!

It reminds me of Wizard of Oz for SNES I believe, which was a terrible game but this one seems a little better.

I love me some 16-bit Disney games. All 3 of these games on the SNES are a lot of fun to play. The second one was also released on the Genesis and a great port on there. I still play all 3 from time to time and I also enjoy Mickey Mania not made by Capcom but still a great Disney Mickey game. The Sega Genesis and Sega CD versions are great. The SNES version is missing a couple stages as well as a secret bonus stage. The PS1 version is also great and very colorful. Lots of great Disney 16-bit games during that era and the Magical Quest series are definitely solid.

The third one is Magical Quest 3 and is a Japanese exclusive on SNES. :)

Great game! The third one indeed did not come out over here. The second one came out as the Great Circus Mystery.

I remember picking up my SNES around May 1993, I got the Starwing edition and also bought Super Star Wars, Super Ghouls N Ghosts, and Magical Quest on the same day. I spent way too much time on Magical Quest over the duration of my time with the SNES, and there's nothing wrong with that!

One of the best SNES games of all time imo
