Three baby owls wake up one night to find their mother missing. It is the responsibility of the oldest sibling to lookout for her younger brothers. The night is dark and lonely and while they contemplate where mum could possibly be, they encounter other nocturnal animals including a hungry fox. Is their mother lost? Does she come back?

Mamma owl goes missing is the story of every mother and child. It has elements of sibling bonding, separation anxiety, what animals eat, how they hunt, hunting, life in the jungle, survival of the fittest, among others.
