I've been a Byrds/Roger McGuinn fan for many, many years. And this is my all time favorite Byrds song. This song is the first song, on the A side on their first album. I just wish that Roger and Chris would get together and make one more album together.
ОтветитьAhead of its time really.
ОтветитьGene! ⚘️
ОтветитьGreat song and the Boomer chick dancers could not be any hotter.
ОтветитьDespite lyrics that describe an agonizingly difficult relationship, this song brings me such joy whenever I listen to it!
ОтветитьYou can tell Roger McGuinn is a good guy when he turns to the camera so that every aspiring teen guitar player can see where he's playing that solo and outro. He's selling 12-strings and setting you up for success.
ОтветитьI feel a whole lot better now that I’m gone!
ОтветитьGreat song timeless
ОтветитьThe Byrds were so important to the music scene of the sixties. Folk rock, psychedelic and country rock were pioneered by them. The Gazzari dancers really bring back some nice memories of the era
ОтветитьAre they playing their own instruments, or is this The Wrecking Crew backing them
ОтветитьCaught Crosby in a mistake. Third verse he plays a D on the word "better" when it should have been an E. Good thing the music was only the record.
ОтветитьHere's an interesting question: who began the use of D-Dsus2-Dsus4-Dsus2-D chord progrssion first?
Did the Beatles start using it or the Byrds ? A LOT of songs in 1964,1965 and 1966 used it.
Beatle, Byrds, and other British invasion bands.
This song heavily uses it and Byrds songs did a lot, but I'm curious who began the trend?
Qué tendrá esta canción (además de una belleza a primera oída) para que el maestro Charly García hubiera querido hacer una remake...? y lo bien que hizo!🔥🔥
ОтветитьI think this is is the same show as the video of the Vogues singing "You're the One". Also Bobby Fuller "I fought the law". After some research, I am pretty confident the TV show was "Hollywood A Go-Go" and the girls were known as the Gazzarri Dancers. Most dancers on similar shows of this era were lame, but these girls were great!
ОтветитьOne of the best songs ever by one of the best bands ever.
ОтветитьEl cover de Charly es mas poderoso.
ОтветитьThanks for sharing. I especially appreciate the view of the solo and the chords. There’s another video that cuts to some silly dancing when the solo starts 😢. Makes me wish i had never sold my rickenbacker

..................absolutely fantastic, i still know every word and note !
ОтветитьLove the jangly guitars.
ОтветитьThis is one of my favorite songs by the Byrds! They were such a fabulous band....way ahead of their time! Such a distinctive sound.....I still listen to their music all the time! ❤
ОтветитьFor me, about 90% of the Byrds was Gene Clark. When he left, they lost a lot.
ОтветитьSuch an underrated classic.
ОтветитьThose. Clothes and. Haircut s
ОтветитьOne of my favorites
ОтветитьIT IS such a liberating, cathartic and revolutionary experience to escape the influence of a poisonous person, especially if that person betrayed your an intimate trust. Gene Clark and The Byrds express, maybe for the first time in the classic rock era, that truth.
Musicly, they establish a style that every band has borrowed since.
This is one of the best songs The Byrds ever did, and it' s not Dylan, it: s Gene Clark, the genius! ❤
ОтветитьNo razonar
Desaparecer
Cuando tenías que estar
Te echaste a correr
Lo que hiciste en mí
No tiene perdón
Y yo sé que me siento
Mucho más fuerte sin tu amor
Mucho tiempo atrás
Me hiciste sentir
Que nuestro amor era más
Y de esa forma vivi
No sé más quién soy
De qué te reís?
Y ahora sé que me siento
Mucho más fuerte sin tu amor
No sé más que hacer
No sé qué decir
Cuando tenías que estar
Te echaste a reír
Lo que hiciste en mí
No tiene perdón
Y ahora sé que me siento
Mucho más fuerte sin tu amor
Y yo sé que me siento
Mucho más fuerte sin tu amor
Oh, sin tu amor
Outstanding song...great lyrics, melody, production...and what a great look the Byrds had...just outstanding...eternal...
ОтветитьFUE UN GRUPASO Y SUS CANCIONES SIGUEN PERDURADO. VIVA LA MÚSICA 🎶 QUE ES UNIVERSAL.
ОтветитьI absolutely love this! Thank you :>.
ОтветитьAlways loved this song. The only one that beats it by a hair is the Hollies I Can't Let Go. Both are perfect pop songs.
ОтветитьJust 'efin' magic!
Ответить"Needles and Pins" by another name, - but still a classic.
ОтветитьI was five but my first venture into another whole new world!!
ОтветитьCharly García's is better
ОтветитьOne of my all time favorite songs that I never get tired of hearing.
ОтветитьHappy 2025 stay safe stay alive
ОтветитьI could hear the Byrds influence on REO Speedwagon right away.
Ответитьconoci esta cancion a travez de charly garcia ❤❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьGreat song! Great group! Handsome David, you are missed!
ОтветитьQué temazo
ОтветитьBought their Greatest Hits back in 1982 when I was 17. I took a strong liking to this song and felt it should be remade, only because the original was so excellent that an encore was warranted. And sure enough Tom Petty did so on his 1989 album Full Moon Fever. Great memories of great music!
ОтветитьSuch à gem from the 60's. As some Light arriving on Earth from some forgotten sun
ОтветитьI was born in the 2020s but the music these days is garbage. The 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s were much better.
ОтветитьOne of the best songs ever. I just did it on the karaoke and I will never get tired of it.
ОтветитьGene Clark❤❤❤ This song is another reason that I made a whole playlist of his songs on my channel. I cover his songs cause he is my favourite artist.
ОтветитьVery effective video !
ОтветитьQue grande Charly jajaja
