#23 Slow Christmas Preparations in Northern Europe | Slow Living in Sweden

Today we continue our slow christmas preparations by hanging up the advent stars to create a cozy christmas atmosphere. It's not just inside that we need to light up, the garden also needs a dose of light and warmth. I thought a pair of pots with tall flower supports would get a little mini-makeover. All I did was put some fir rice on the pots. Then I found some balls that fit perfectly as some kind of Christmas tree balls. I wrapped a string of lights around the frame and the idea is that in the evening they will look like fir trees that sparkle in the dark. While we waited for dusk, we took the opportunity to drink hot chocolate with very fluffy whipped cream in front of the stove in the greenhouse. Have you tried putting one or two After Eight bars in the hot chocolate? Will be heavenly good if we like the taste of mint.
And finally, like two shimmering Christmas trees, the flower supports are standing and spreading Christmas spirit in our garden, now we are ready for Advent, how cozy it will be.
