All in all this is a decent series. Some 4+ over fork tubes and a different tank and you‘d be money.
ОтветитьAny plans for rubber mount hardtail kits?
ОтветитьExcellent, you guys are awesome! Do you plan to sell this sportster when you’re done?
ОтветитьThat original purchase price is unreal! Thanks for doing this series.
ОтветитьWhat size hose barbs for the 1/4" NPT the oil fittings are you using for the 3?
ОтветитьWhy was the front end removed? Seems pointless.
ОтветитьNot sure why the front end even came off, seems pointless.
ОтветитьThanks for the great video series! When will you guys come out with a barebones wiring video for this? I’m currently struggling on how to rewire my bike barebones.
ОтветитьSeth! I think I talked to you on the phone today. Thanks for all your help and for pointing me to these videos. It has equal parts helped and terrified me. lol
ОтветитьI definitely appreciate you guys taking the time to do these videos! Thanks and smart business move, definitely helps someone that's on the edge of purchase to see that they can do it.
ОтветитьIf while your doing this mod you know your going to put on a 6-8-10 over springer front end ..could you now say trim off an additional 1/4"-1/2" to accommodate a longer front ..???
ОтветитьAny issues running the belt with the rigid as opposed to a chain conversion?
ОтветитьHow much clearance do you have between the rear cylinder head and the frame? Can you still remove the rear valve cover just like with the stock frame?
ОтветитьThat white noise with the beeps wtf
ОтветитьIm so glad tou guys made this series, I've been wanting to build a hardtail chopper for a while now, I didn't know where to start, I was wanting to use a Yamaha xs650 but they're so hard to come by, but thankfully I came across this, because sportsters are more common to come by. I just bought a sportster this past weekend so I could do this but at the same time I feel kind of guilty because it's a very clean and almost spotless 2003 XL 1200 Custom 100th Anniversary. I feel guilty because I think my grandpa will kind of be disappointed when he finds out I'm going to chop it out but at the same time I feel like I could make it look even better than how good it looks right now, im wanting to go get the frame professionally painted orange, chrome the sissy bar out, and throw a springer front end on it.
Ответитьjust curious what the cloth covered oil lines are called? cant seem to find them on the site
ОтветитьEau Claire Wisconsin and you’re not drinking Leinenkugel‘s😧 Good stuff very inspirational

Ответитьsweet video.. but when are u supposed to paint the frame?
ОтветитьBeen wanting to do this for the past 2 years. I just dont have 3k to do it. but man it makes the sportster such a beautiful bike
ОтветитьIs there a list of all the parts you need to build this?
