ASUS ROG Rapture GT-AX11000 Router blogger review

Fast, but unstable. Speed varies tremendously down to super slow. Connections time out constantly and router needs to be reset. If you enjoy constantly tinkering with electronics to make them work better or make them work again, this might be for you. I thought I was upgrading from my VELOP mesh system. The AX11000 made me realize how good the VELOP actually is. Velop speed on every speed test out there is much better than the AX11000. Oh, yeah, if you use one of their Dual Band routers as a AIMesh node like the AX6000 was using, the node becomes a single band router and only the 2.4 band is available. I actually had the AX11000 working better by itself in a 3200 sq ft 2-story house. Signal strength was good everywhere, but the connection and consistent speed really were horrible. I will now wait until Orbi or Velop releases their Wifi 6 mesh system.

Not sure if you can help but have the same Router, Not sure whats going on but am getting only 390 downloads and 16.5 upload speeds, My comcast combo router modem gives me about 375 down and 15.5 up and sometimes i get faster speeds with my comcast router, Is there a functionality i should change out the box?

Do u need to put the antenas?

How does this compare to the TP=LINK Archer AX11000 Model? Anyone know? How is the User interface on this model compared to the Tp-Link Archer AX11000 Model? User Interface is very important also, as far as setting flexibility and Security Options, etc.
