Strasbooooooourg 😍😍😍😍 J'y ai vécu durant un an entier et je reconnais tout les endroits qui ont été montrés dans la vidéo. La Petite France, la Place Gutemberg, la Place de L'Homme de Fer... Quelles énormes "saudades" je ressens de Strasbourg.

The best patisserie at Chez Christian. They also do amazing things with chocolate using Mayan-inspired recipes. I tried madeleines there for the first time. OMG so good.

Why would that one girl say that Europa-Park belonged to Alsace? The park is clearly German. Very close to the border, but still in Germany. All signs in the park are in German first and then in French. I don‘t know how you can miss that.

C'est un ville et une région merveilleux. Le plus spéciale est la mélange de culture française et allemande. De fait, la Passarelle des deux Rives sur le Rhin est un lieu très symbolique pour être le point de rencontre de les deux pays malheureusement enemitiés dans l'histoire. C'est Strasbourg, Mulhouse, Colmar avec tous les musées, c'est l'Europa Park, c'est Basel en Suisse, c'est Freiburg en Allemagne, c'est la Fôret Noire et , biensûr, les Vosges, beaucoup à découvrir.

I lived in Strasbourg for a few years. It's the most beautiful city I've lived in and I'd go back there in a hearbeat.

J'aimerais beaucoup y retourner. J'ai été une fois mais je ne le rappele pas beaucoup. J'aime le mélange entre culture française et allemande. Comme je suis allemand, ça n'importe pas trouver les gens dans les villages qui parlent encore l'alsacien. Enfin, c'est un dialecte de nos cultures germanophones.

I was hoping to hear French spoken with the local accent, but these kids all seem to my admittedly subfluent native Anglophone ear to be speaking standard French.

Edit. Having said which, the guy in the dark glasses seemed to have a bit of an accent. Was that Alsatian?

I could also understand most of what the Italian girl was saying, which was gratifying as I don't really think of myself as an Italian speaker.
