Light rail extension between Seattle and Eastside delayed

I’m fine with a delay of a few more months (used to it by now!). Glad to see them testing. Getting it right and testing the service are more important than opening the bridge early.

It was supposed to be ready in 2020....

Ah, Sound Transit. The second largest industrial complex in history. The first being California HSR. Runaway corruption and gaslighting the taxpayers is the name of the game, and boy is it ever lucrative for them.

The reality is Seattlites voted against the idea of a subway…TWICE! Plus, retrofitting a floating bridge just MIGHT have some engineering challenges given the whole thing is ya know… floating… We’re lucky to even have a light rail system now.

Another 20 billion and a few more years should about do it. What a magnificent waste of tax dollars for a minor improvement.

Not surprised there is more delay. I will also not be surprised if the floating bridge sinks while a train is crossing during a storm.

What we really need is a Light Rail from Renton/Tukwila to Bellevue.

Sound Transit need to be Replace by Japan Railway. People working at Sound Transit are not those Professional that know about Trains. Imagine Japan already 100th of Bullet Train. And America is just 60 years away. This Company is Full of Corrupt Officials…

Adair is a member of HeroHouse in Bellevue, a clubhouse for people with mental illness. His only business going to the east side to go to HeroHouse, which is located in factoria. The train takes him to downtown Bellevue. It's quicker to take a bus from Chinatown to Eastgate park and ride. Then it's only a 10-minute walk to the clubhouse. If you took the train downtown you'd have to take two more buses to get to the clubhouse. I know this cuz he was "arrested" for a hate crime against me at her house property. I'm a Messianic Jew and he intentionally destroyed my Payer Shaw in an act of hate. Boy the news channels sure can't pick em! Lies lies and more lies. Social media should have bulshit radars to prevent false narratives like that.
