It only makes Adam more terrifying when you realize that he’s already a Pycho, like the creator of Cyberpunk said that Adam is a cyber Pycho who is in a line of work that covers it up. On top of that Adam also views humans as meat or even cattle and he’s the butcher.

This, plus the lore of cyberpsychosis and the surgeon trying its best to explaining it with current knolwedge really gives the true bigger picture of smasher.

With the casting of the skull over David’s face you could also figure that in a small way Adam smasher is offing the concept that he could have been different. The invitation seen as mercy from someone that is defined to bell by his lack of it. Smasher made his bed already in life but he notices how David could be more with training and refinement. The entire fight felt like he was just grooming him and taking out his friends to detach him from connections he sees as weaknesses. That’s why I am hoping we get a season where David becomes the villain and he has to be saved from becoming Adam smasher 2.0 like the corps want. Or he’s dead. And this is a lesson about living within your means.

I would absolutely LOVE for you to do a series on Buffy the Vampire Slayer... I don't know if you like that television show, the one starring Sarah Michelle Gellar, not the movie lol... your really good at analyzing 'big bads' and you even used the term that the show uses for the main baddies of each season that Buffy and the Scoobies have to deal with each season... anyhow... just wondering if you liked this t.v show, I absolutely love it and it helped me get through a lot of things growing up... I find that Cyber Punk and Buffy the Vampire Slayer share a lot of themes and are both really REALLY good at shaping characters and making the viewer form real emotional attachments to them... Buffy more so, maybe because it's such a good show and hit on every single issue you can think of. Have ever thought of doing a video on Buffy vs. Faith or maybe the big bads on the show or Spike ❤

From playing Cyberpunk 2077 and diving into the Lore a little Adam Smasher is the level of insane that he is sane he has always enjoyed combat and hurting and killing others, cyberpsychosis is loosely referenced being linked to humanity and empathy and smasher doesn’t have any he literally got booted from the army because he enjoyed killing the only person he has ever seen as a true opponent was Morgan Blackhand, Blackhand was lightly chromed unlike smasher who was heavily chromed and yet he could never kill Blackhand……. Honestly my favourite part of 2077 is zeroing Smasher

I do hope we get an answer as to what happened with Morgan Blackhand.

Smasher always struck me as the type of guy to brag about taking out Morgan. A bit notch on his belt. Though he does not say a word about him after their last encounter and as such Blackhand's fate remains a mystery.

Blackhand is very similar to Smasher in a way, but unclear as to where his empathy may fall if he has any.

Smasher in lore is one bleak motherfucker. I remember there is a scene in one of the books where he mows down an entire crowd with a machine gun just because the target was hiding in that crowd.

Censoring the swearing, and then in the next second showing Rebecca's mutilated body with her brain and several organs just strewn across the ground.

I love the little details like Smasher’s eyes not turning or angling. They stay fixed. It adds to the feel of a shark or predator.

Oh yeah. Read the Cyberpunk 2020 books and you get a clear picture of the guy. Adam Smasher is a straight up psychopath who enjoys killing, and he was this way well before he was 'chippin' in', so to speak. He defeated his rival Shaitan, another full-conversion borg, during the Arasaka Tower incident.

He also saw to the death of Johnny Silverhand, another legend, in the same night. All towering figures in the Cyberpunk mythos. He's not just a legend but a legend-killer as well. Like, how do you beat something like that?

Some people wake up and choose violence, Smasher is violence.

Adam Smasher is scary until you fight him in the game, such a disappointingly easy boss fight.

He’s definitely more “animated” when he was younger during the Fourth Corporate War, snarky at Arasaka on the phone during the shadow part of that war or perking up seeing a new combat mech on display. Whatever lurks behind that metal shell has gotten much colder.

The fact that V is way less modified than David or Adam Smasher and still defeated Adam Smasher make him a legend itself, for us is almost normal since we put all our efforts into it, but in Cyberpunk 2077 world we are unstoppable at that point

Arasaka is notorious about adopting children to convert them into killing machines, literally. It wouldn't be surprise if Adam is like the Master Chief of Cyberpunk.

I think that this show goes a long way to really show just how strong V is from the Cyberpunk2077 game. It shows you how strong David is and then him getting destroyed by Smasher when David was at his strongest, then in the game you have V who is able to pick apart Smasher in anyway that V wants to. It’s a fantastic story that really adds to the game that it was based off of rather than takes away from the game. I think that is why both the anime and the game have both been received well since the anime came out.

Also the whole show sets the audience up emotionally. The hero’s empathy kills them every time. Every “good” character dies in a moment of vulnerability caused by them helping someone else instead of following their most selfish desires. The grimmest aspect of cyberpunk is that in their world mostly rewards selfish behavior, and isolation

Apparently Adam smasher is Also a huge fan of elvis presley and even has A spare body anatomically correct in the form of elvis only with blonde hair. I believe He used that body when he didn't want to be noticed In public as himself. And also when he was dating the granddaughter of the head of the company. Apparently even monsters have heroes who they look up to.

David was no hero, out for justice. but just another edgerunner out for revenge. He ended the same way everyone else in Cyberpunk does. Not special.
